Anyone ever had experience with Boost Motorsport? I've been told they used to do a lot of work on imports when they first opened and are good. Might get them to do my gearbox change for me in a month if they get repped decent..

Gtm Supercharger Or S/turbo?
Seano350GT replied to mitch28's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Alright mate, just make sure you do exercise caution if you are going to go ahead with it. Considering he is a private seller across the other side of the world, you'd wanna hope it comes with everything he says it does. -

Beware - R34 Gtr For Sale In Sydney
Seano350GT replied to R31Nismoid's topic in General Automotive Discussion
You are right Simon, but in saying that these days a buyer has access to much much more information on the internet for example to find some sort of previous history of the car and even value their car rather than years ago this wasn't the case. (i f*cking hate Redbook) I sell Used Cars, these dealers that do dodgy shit give all of us a bad name. In the end, the buyer actually ends up being the liar rather than the sales person. This may be a hell of a lot different in an Import car yard i'm just speaking from my experience in Used Cars. -
Sweet thanks Cal, on the other site i found it $113 or something delivered so that's about right. Hahaha Daniel i tried quoting you again i'm just not going to bother pressing any buttons on these pages anymore apart from "post" as it seems to be the only one the works for me..
-
Lol Daniel i can't work out why i keeps opening the ERD page, i thought you'd gone to new advertising extremes and played around with the shortcut buttons or something hahaha. This has been a very interesting read, such a shame that this is really happening... -

That'd be Ben Earl's R32 GTR drag car, built for 1000+ HP and located in Mackay far north QLD. If it is him your talking about, the car is INSANE to watch race and will give you an erection.

When i first started reading i was thinking it might be a belt, when you said you lost "everything" do you mean power steering as well? I once had a similar experience but it was just the aircon/power steering/aternator belt coming loose i just caught it in my driveway before it flung off (has happened to me before) and done mass damage. Auto elec would be the go, also might pay to send a message to Chris Rogers in regards to the immobolisers interfearing if that does end up being the issue as he is the man to see about those things. In saying that though, the way you explain it it does seem to be a bit of a mystery but as Mat said i would backtrack to what you did last but i have a feeling if you had knocked something loose when cleaning with your bare hands i daresay you wouldn't forget about it. Goodluck!

Wtb: V35 Coupe Car Bra
Seano350GT replied to Seano350GT's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Correct, i have decided i'm going to fly anyway. I don't think i'd be up for the long drive considering things like roadworks & weather (i am paranoid about driving in bad weather) and the fact that it's a very time consuming drive and a lot can go wrong. Thanks for the information though will come in handy if i do decide to do a trip similar to this one in the future. -
Rolling Guard And Suspension
Seano350GT replied to V(35)Powarh!'s topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
I was just about to recommend www.rimtuck.com too. The easiest way i think to do it would be to try and find a picture or someone with the same if not very similar specs and try to find out what they're lowered on and what tyres and all the specs then work it from there. All those calculators can be tricky to understand so that's how i worked out my setup by finding a guy in America with a G35 on the exact same wheel specs. I would recommend finding the wheels & tyres first then fitting coilovers/springs and trialing it to see how it looks then roll the guards, just have to make sure u have access to another car since you don't want to be driving with your tyres rubbing your fenders.. I'm fitting 25mm + 20mm spacers this weekend and i'll need front and rear guards rolled just depends what sort of "stance" you want. Goodluck! It's certainly not an easy task finding the perfect setup. -
Hi James welcome to the group, Between 20 and 25k you can find an immaculate manual v35 with premium pack brembo's leather and bose sound. I think signing up with importers would be a good idea or at least speaking to some and seeing what the word is in Japan and seeing how many are actually out there. I've been stalking carsales for a few weeks now for Manual v35's that look tidy and i've found next to nothing. The same v35 with a gtr front bumper has been there since i bought my car.. 8 months ago. They certainly aren't selling fast but as Tony said it's a good idea to play the waiting game and look for a perfect one. Post in V-Series Skylines and you'll receive some good feedback.

I'm yet to see one with the paddle shifters. I have a mate that's in the process of doing the transgo and he's pretty keen. Okay judging by that i'd guess low 20s which isn't paying too much. I paid too much for mine, bought it with 80,000km bone stock $21,000 lol.. but it is a manual so give or take a couple grand cheaper for a stock auto.
-
Definitely a good set of mods there, may i ask what year/kms and what you paid? Paddle shifters, that's mad.. next thing Trangso shift kit and B&M tranny cooler?
-
Care to post a list of mods other than appearance? I like that Nismo bumper a lot Good idea i could use one of those for the retarded Mackay drivers..
