  1. has anyone got 2 wheels my mate can use for the drags tonight? need to fit a r33 and have decent tread or at least enough to pass scrouteneering. Let me know if you've got anything you can spare for the night, he will return them. Would be greatly appreciated
  2. I guess we will just have to see how i go once i order the parts haha.. i will do a bit of research on the import conditions.
  3. I had a thought Mat, what about sort of a glossy gun metal grey with white brembo stickers? i think that would look nice depending on the colour of wheels but if your after something to stand out it wouldn't be the best idea.
  4. Yeah cool cool he said he does alot of high value shipments to Australia and no one has complained to him yet about any GST or taxes lol so that'd be good if he does that. Couldn't have picked a shitter time of the year to spend $3000.. around xmas and my mrs is expecting a shit load of presents as they do..
  5. i contacted Coz again, he said he's going to send the package as a rebuild for $750 so he thinks the taxes won't be high if not any.
  6. Prices include all taxes and GST. I've also changed flywheel, going with the South Bend and i believe Exedy makes them but they have less chatter than the others.
  7. Update: I have been in touch with Z1 performance in states over the last few weeks ttrying to find a better deal for what i want. Here it is so far: CD009 Transmission Chromoly Pivot Ball Stainless Steel Clutch Line Nismo Pilot Bushing JWT Clutch & Flywheel (tossing up between Nismo or UR flywheel as they supposedly have less chatter under 2000rpm) Redline 75w90 gl4 gearbox oil + same stuff with gl5 for diff oil. Z1 performance originally quoted me $1,699 + $775 shipping for just the gearbox alone. I approached Coz at ConceptZperformance a while back and received no response, got an email back this morning from Coz saying "shit that's expensive i'll do it for $2194 delivered" definitely happy with that. Definitely pays off searching around for a good deal as i'm very happy with saving $300. Costing me a total of $3068 total delivered in 3-5 days which is great. Now i just need the money!
  8. Sweet, that's good news. Take it back and get them to plug it in if that is the issue.
  9. The oldies like the idea of moving there because of the "scenery" or some shit. And it's dirt cheap rent compared to this rip off town.
  10. Hahaha that is a whole new level. Great, now i've just got to convince the Mrs (who works for Telstra) to move with me. Mackay is shit boring..
  11. Hey everyone, i made a post in here several weeks/months ago talking about my parents moving to Toowoomba and i may possibly be following. They have decided to move to Gatton, supposedly bogan capital of QLD.. just wondering what sort of work is there around Gatton/Toowoomba? Might add that i've been in new & used car sales for the last 2 years so i'd appreciate it if i could get a response on something relative to that. cheers!
  12. I also like the purple Josh put up!
  13. I definitely think this would be a really good mod to do when everything is finished on my car, would do it over a weekend and just take it easy not rushing it.
  14. Hi, I would also like to know about windscreen availability for when the time comes. But in regards to the window, i would buy a whole new motor, you can do a DIY on it and clean it up and it may come good but it's only a matter of time before it fails again. I would try sourcing them from Japan or eBay, not sure if there would be a difference between the G35 and V35 motor, just as long as you buy the passenger side one if it's off a G35.
  15. I was just thinking about colour change to my Brembo's last night.. hmm. I like the idea of black with white brembo stickers. That green does look nice though and it's different.
  16. What year is your Z? Are you parting the gearbox too? If it's 2006+ with the CD009 gearbox i'm keen. If not, GLWS
  17. Yes Art it will. Keep in mind with this system you will need the Magnaflow X pipe which heavily reduces the annoying rasp that comes with this system. More than likely you will have to adjust the hangers on the exhaust and some modifications may need to be made in order for this exhaust to not rub on the underside of the car.
  18. They do indeed, they love their G's haha. Not a problem man, good stuff
  19. By the way, if you don't know much about these cars i highly suggest signing up to g35driver.com too, there is also a facebook page i'm apart of with 500+ members called V35 Coupe Drivers. I know just about all the common problems with these cars so if you ever need any help feel free to put up a post or drop a PM as most of the people on this forum would be more than happy to help.
  20. I was just wondering the size, All good man. You get that, i've spent just over 4k in 6 months on mine and i have a list of shit i want that adds up to 7k so let's see how that goes! lol.. money pit, it never ends.
  21. That is impressive, i am loving the feedback ECC's customers are giving it makes me want to be in Brisbane even more now! For $500, that's is excellent value for money considering how impressed you are of the results. Good stuff!
  22. Hey Reece welcome to the forums man, are they 19's? Looks nice man. I'm in Mackay, let me know if you pass through here and we'll catch up.
  23. I really like that Mark, it's VERY different! I saw a lot of the blokes in Stagea discussion dissing the "stance" scene and your car but who cares what people think at least it makes you happy. The headlights and front bumper look very strange, like a completely different car. I say, well done
  24. You will not regret getting these coilovers, they are one of the most reputable coils on the market. Given that stock wheels are the 17s or 18s? if they are the 17s then he's probably right. With these coils you can dump it frame on the ground or raise it 4x4 spec. No idea about rubber or pillow mounts.
