Most annoying thing would be slowing down to a stop in order to get into a driveway here and having some dickhead sit up your arse and blow the horn at you. Had some bitch in a captiva or some POS do that to me getting into my own driveway when there was another un-occupied lane right next to me she could have quite easily drove around or merged lanes but nooooooo has to blow the horn and get up my arse.

Matt i can relate to that issue with the ATR's, i randomly get the VDC kick in when it's turned off just after it rains.. that's not even accelerating hard either just normal driving. Jolts the f*ck out of the car it shits me when it happens.

As the title says, after a bose door speaker. Must be in working condition obviously, mine has blown the other day so my right ear doesn't catch any music. I am located in Mackay QLD 4740 i am happy to pay for postage. thanks

Did a gearbox oil change yesterday, as some of you know my 3rd and 5th synchro's have basically had it. Gave some Redline oil a shot, did FA.. owell at least i gave it a shot before i blew $2000 on a new box.

Haha mate you will get that everywhere, i am still getting used to being this low. Sometimes it's annoying, for example yesterday i did a gearbox oil change and i had to physically lift the car up from the fenders with my hands to fit the arms of the hoist under the car..

Colin i have the same springs, they're a bit rough but the drop is tidy. I am happy with how it sits also.

James sometimes an automatic with cruise control can actually be worse on fuel than a manual because of the constant gear changes. At least i know for a fact this is the case for the mid 2000 model Prado's.

rs88 you have an open diff, from what i have read in the 03-04's ONLY the manuals had a VLSD. Do a bit more research though i could have read some lies.

Changed my gearbox oil today to some Redline. I thought the oil that was in my car would be extremely low due to the gearbox noise and crunching but it turns out i still had 2.5L of oil left. Haven't got to drive the car faster than 2nd gear yet since i'm still at work so hopefully it solves my 5th gear crunch and i don't have to buy a new gearbox!

Farrk Sam, these numbers are not expected of a "performance" or "sports" car.. something a yaris would do.

I've got ATR sports too, 225/35/20 255/35/20 with no swaybars and i seem to be able to corner reasonably well but i wouldn't say it's good.

What year is your car? I'm guessing it's the open diff. Since you have an auto that's what you've got i do beleive, someone correct me if i'm wrong. The 6mt car with the "sports kit" 18's and brembos have a VLSD which is better for tracking/cornering and also stops you from doing the 1 pegger burnouts. That's briefly what i know about diffs, definitely not a strong point so if any of that is incorrect someone chime in that knows exactly how diffs work.

Yeah each businesses will have their own structures. I work with a guy that is an absolute gun, makes well over $100,000 a year and refuses to be a manager he wants to keep selling because he's damn good at it. Really? How long have you been there for? I was in fleet before and made close to 10k in a month. Now i'm just in 4x4 used cars and i have realised how much money there really is in this game, i've got $3600 secured bonus to be paid next week plus my commission and weekly retainer which i will obviously get taxed every cent of.

That's not to say that every car has over 9k profit in it, but the ocassional cars do. From last months 18 deals delivered i did my average grosse profit was around $3500. Yep certainly is, i've been in new cars before and the money is much much better and my god is it easier to sell haha. I make 7% of the profit per car, when i reach 10 cars it goes to 9% and back tracks on the previous 9 cars. Hard to understand but i think you would know. Plus we have monthly incentives on "old stocker" cars. Last month we had a bonus on each car over 100 days old, i just sold the oldest car in our stock 218 days old and made $1000 bonus in my back pocket. I'm telling you man, used is the go. Really keen for next weeks payday haha, too bad all of it is going on the car.

Ewan, you need to be in Used Cars mate! I work in usedies for Toyota, the profit i get in some of these cars is mental.. i have just recently sold a 2009 L/C 200 series V8 with $9400 profit.. minus the roadworthy costs etc. So much money to be made in Used Cars you just have to get over the fact that most people think your a dodgy c*nt used car salesman. I love it!
