My driver's side window is slower to wind up than the passenger side, but they both go down at the same speed. The "auto" feature on my window does not work on the driver's side, but does work on the passenger side. Also when you close the door and the window moves up a little bit, that does not happen with the drivers side but it does with the passenger side. Will pulling apart the door trim and cleaning the driver's side motor fix all the issues or would it be smarter to just buy a whole new motor?

yes please someone tell where to get it from and what the cost is, my drivers side window doesn't do that function but my passenger side does. Will replacing the window motor fix that problem or do i need that little switch too?

How bout i poke you in the ass Tony? Just kidding. I've got spacers at home, no time to put them on. I need rear guards rolled when i do put them on, my mate can roll them for me it's just difficult because he's always busy but hopefully this weekend they'll go on.

Got my girlfriends expensive camera out this arvo, wanted to take some nice pics since the new wheels + drop. Need to put my spacers on the back again i know it's tucking a bit.

Funny story about them.. my mate bought a CF hood and a GTR bodykit (i know..) and they only shipped it to Sydney and the shipping company made him pay like another $1200 or something ridiculous from Sydney to Mackay.. JM auto told my mate it'd come to the business address nominated by him, but they f*cked up. Jason is good to deal with but, hopefully you don't get the same service he did.

Well apparently the car has an excedy twin place clutch in it now, i've never driven a manual v35 with the stock clutch so i can't be too sure if it's legit.. Oh shit.. don't tell me that haha

Depending who you order off, they usually cover the customs taxes for you.

haha not sure what he'd think about that. If i was going to do anything to the gearbox i would replace it with the 05-07 transmission as it has better synchro's and i would only have the same problem with my current gearbox down the line.

True Ben that's right. I've only been in the car scene under a year but always been interested in the import scene since i was 13 or something but never had the chance to do hands on work, i have started collecting shit with my dad and it's good fun getting under the car on a Sunday and doing stuff i enjoy it. It does take time to learn though but i don't think a gearbox is something i should tackle with no driveline experience whatsoever.

Not doing it myself lol. I was offered 20k cash for my car yesterday. Paid 21k 8 or so months ago, saves me the trouble of replacing the gearbox since this guy is loaded. Might go ahead with it, get a work car and in the meantime try and source a 06/07 V35 from Japan or something. Food for thought. Also my mechanic said 5 hours MAX since he didn't know how difficult it would be on the car he based that on his experience of every other car on the market apart from this.

u mean my car? i'm really not sure, i have a feeling only the 350z's and V35's with the VQ35DE motors will fit, i think the VQ35HR motor started in 05 with the new tranny.

Yeah unless it's got some manly accessories on it, haha. Really? what a tosser! the MPS is pretty quiet, can't hear the exhaust when u accelerate just the air flowing over the car..

- amazingly torquey motor - 380NM from factory - pulls like a V8, 3rd gear is phenomenal (tests have recorded quicker 80-120km than Porsche 911) ^ AGREE! Last night is usually our meet night up here, get about 15 cars. My mate has a black MPS with a few mods, we were cruising next to eachother doing about 75 so i think we were both in 3rd gear. Then we were at the top of a hill and descending and he gunned it, that thing nearly took off. I reckon he got up to about 130 in the space of 200m or there abouts. He loves the thing! - nobody knows what they are - so you get zero street cred ^ lol at that
