  1. don't run 285 tyres with a 19inch rim or you will have rubbing issues on your inner guards
  2. hey dude just to give you an idea you can see my setup in my signature but 317kw @ 20psi on 98 315kw @ 15psi on E85 388kw @ 20psi on E85 so you can see the difference. hope this helps OP
  3. 19x10.5+22 wont hit the suspension, but +22 is just a tad to small from the aggressive look! + 22 will sit just in side the guards, if your looking for a flush look with the guards like a nice aggressive stance, get 18/19x10.5+12/15 or if you want it to poke just a little anything around the +9 with a 10.5'' wide tyre would look good! google how much ce28 would cost brand new and then see what condition they are in. if brand new still in box I would pay 90-100% of what they cost. if a few scratches and dings you could look between the 60-80% mark depending on the condition. not that you don't trust your mate, but ive never bought second hand rims, as you never know the condition of them, ive got mates that have bought second hand rims and 9/10 rims they have had a buckled wheel. and tbh if your going to own a 34GTR and you want a nice set of rims, why not save up and get brand new ones!
  4. i have a genuine topsecret carbon fibre bonnet for r34 gtr purchased from another member on sau, but never had the time to put it on the car. can be yours for $800 if your in sydney ill deliver it!
  5. are the cams drop in? with nothing extra to do or head work? i thought about 10.3 lift was about the biggest you could go without pulling head off and doing work?
  6. what are the duration and lift of these unigroup cams ?
  7. PT6262 + 260 10.8 cams + 3.2L bottom end + e85 you will see some good power levels, with a good tune i recon you will see full boost by easy 5k and i recon you will make easy 400kw on about 20-22psi is your turbo twin scroll? why dont you run eflex, you can run 98 when ever you want and if you feel like putting in E85 you just do it off topic sorry but.....who built your bottom end? fully forged? can you pm me some details or if your happy to share on here thats cool
  8. you obviously dont just put E85 in and expect it to have more power. obviously if you have a flex tune then yes your tuner will be able to use less boost and acheive the same power as 98. for example i make 315kw @ 14psi on E85 where as i make 320kw @ 17psi on 98 so you can see there is a very big diffrence in what E85 can do for tuning im all for it
  9. you obviously have the normal issues, location of E85, as a DD you need to plan your route keeping in mind the locations of the fuel. also km range. i get about 400km to a tank on 98, and about 300km to a tank on E85 around town. so also the fuel range is less aswell. yes its cheaper but compared to 98 it works out the same price in the end. you just obviously get benifits from it, healthier for your motor so to speak, more power with a tad more reliability. alot of my mates dont want to change to E85 as there isnt alot of servos around that sell it. but if you plan your trips its nothing to worry about.... + it smells better than 98
  10. i have a set of 33 gts-t bonnet dampers that i bought from the group buy, that i never installed on my 33 gtst brand new never used. located sydney $80
  11. lots of info on here about detailing your own car. dont waste $300 on someone to come clean your car. learn to clean it yourself and get that satisfaction wash claybar wash polish wash wax. done
  12. i know its a different tyre brand but i have 265 hankook z221 on my 10" wide rims and the fitment is very flush
  13. oh. guess your gonna be solving the issue just did a quick google, most people say a razor blade and alot of patience, or alot of people say nail polish remover

  15. yeah i sure do, i had the 1000cc inj in my 34GTR for about 2 years worked fine! only sold them as i went 2000cc inj the only trouble i had was when i first got them i needed them to be flow tested and cleaned due to when they sent them over they put a certain like vaseline inside them to preserve them, and also they are low impedance or high impedance cant remember which one, so you need to rewire and by pass the resistor box and good to go
  16. if it was done at a shop i would simple take it to them and get them to solve your issue
  17. As i am no expert i am just trying to give the guy some info about some basic mods he can do with his skyline since he has just got it. noting that he has given no information about it, ive tried to take that into fact and give a broad detail of what to expect with regards to prices and things. please instead of shutting me down try and give some advice or previous experience as to what the OP would like to get out of this post
  18. well im from the central coast. grew up here and know the area like ......... you will be driving straight passed my house so im familiar with the route
  19. well makes sense as i was running high around the 360kw range on e85 20psi so i swapped out my 1000cc for 2000cc standard FPR
  20. http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/194511-anyone-with-105in-wide-rims-on-an-r33-gtr/page-2http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/194511-anyone-with-105in-wide-rims-on-an-r33-gtr/page-2 read #21 post. he is running 18x11 +22 fits flush with the guards but rubs on full lock. you want to run +3 so the wheel will stick out 1.9cm more than the guards.
  21. agree, but maybe the question is, why is the OP looking at running 11j wide wheels? has this car got 600kw and is struggling for traction? or do you want the 11+3 for the puffed aggressive poke look?
  22. no it cant be tuned if it still has a standard computer, check to see if its a standard computer. underneat the glove box. secondly a few bolt on mods might raise power a bit but best to do it with a tune to get the most out of the car in a reliable fashion. you want a straigh bonnet and front and rear bumper? has it been in an accident? best bet would be to jump on gumtree or ebay and try and find some second hand parts. the first things you would be looking at for some bolt on mods would be exhaust - for a 33 gtst a full 3 inch exhaust will be fine.from the turbo back, the biggest restriction these cars have is the catalytic converter, so a nice 3" 100cell would be good! although if your going to be running less than 250kw i wouldnt worry about turbo back, a cat and catback would be fine coil packs - splitfire are what everyone uses best quality, although yellow jacket are some others peoples choice. looking at about $500-$700 inj - injector dynamics is the brand everyone uses too, but any other brand is fine, around the 700cc mark will be fine for now and probably be enough for up to 300kw looking at around $500-$700 fuel pump - walbro, bosch, nismo all great brands, although again if your going to be running less than 220kw i think standad fuel pump should be fine. looking at around $150-$300 ecu - you will need an aftermarket computer so you can tune the car. a Power FC is the most common used in the first instance for tuning skylines easy to use most tuners can tune them, second hand your looking at around $800-$1000 or you can pick up a nistune for around $300-$500 (i think) is the car turbo? if so i wouldnt be running any more than 10psi on the stock turbo. 10psi isas high as you would want to go with out putting to much strain on the turbo. an aftermarket turbo would be needed if you want to push more than 230kw garret do a bolt on kit for the rb25det or hypergear also sell turbos that bolt straight on. you can also get them to highflow your standard turbo aswell for about $1000 also not sure how good the standard side mount intercooler is good for, but if you are going to be pushing more than 230kw i would be looking for a front mount intercooler hope this helps. any questions just keep asking
