  1. Terry - I do agree with you, infinitely. I'm a sports kind of person and i actually used to hate anything to do with weights or the gym - thought it was stupid. But now that I've actually started going, I can see/feel the progress and it's motivating me to continue. Having said that, I don't think I could do any treadmill work without there being TV on the thing, I would fall off from boredom - which brings me back to why I love sports, because I can play with friends and be fit at the same time. But sports themselves won't give me muscles! So I do them together, and see both improve! Troy, Birds - totally agree. Once I'd started to lift and learn more about it, I started educating my missus too and now she lifts (a little) at home, with dumbbells! Will slowly get her to move up....
  2. I believe we have something to reform the high school PE curriculum with. Brought to you by SAU!
  3. so you mean you did this, or this is how you bought it? man that is ugly. bad luck!
  4. waka flocka flame anyone?
  5. Nick, my mate who does boxing/MMA has been teaching me on and off (just once a week) for less than a month, and learning the real technique of this stuff totally throws out all preconceptions of what boxing/MMA 'is' (ie what you see on tv/movies) - I still only have very average form/technique, and therefore for a HIIT class to be predominantly boxing WITHOUT having the proper technique taught/mastered first by the students would be so pointless - thus illustrating your point. as for the OP - sounds like they need some TRIPLE T! the real one, not the one that lurks on car forums.
  6. not a restaurant but yesterday the office had some catering, those sandwiches are soooo delicious
  7. btw that's some amazonian right there you could try cooking with the oil....or have it mixed in with salad etc as cooking olive oil might alter it (thats why its normally used freshly) - cos drinking it really doesn't sound that appetising
  8. Brendan - here's a suggestion: pics please

  10. hai guyz i'm training for a music festival so i can wear phaggy XL singlets to show off my pecs, but i don't have pecs yet so how can i get massive? - paraphrased from a conversation i heard a while ago at my gym
  11. white RS4 yesterday in driving from chatswood - gordon, tried to have a look at the driver, he didn't make any eye contact so couldn't wave. B-side (or similar) sticker on back window. Maybe he didn't look at me cos I was driving a civic
  12. Ok. Thought I didn't really need to since it's just an EOI - but no problems. Looking for $5500, but definitely willing to negotiate as there are a few things which may need fixing: - both rear windows don't wind down well/at all but will go up fine (electric) - some kind of belt/fan noise will get that checked out soon - there is a scratch on the windscreen but literally unnoticeable Basically nothing which affects the running of the car (apart from the belt/fan thingy which I will get fixed soon), so it's a great daily. Hit me up with offers.
  13. yessir, came back from Taiwan, never bought a milk tea from chatime/restaurants again - costs 1$ (for the EXPENSIVE ONES, over there) and 5$ here. DAFUQ?

  17. Hey all, found another GTT which I may be interested in, this time the price is extremely low which has me really curious as to why it is so. anyway, anybody have intel on this one? http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/guildford/cars-vans-utes/1999-nissan-skyline-coupe/1009797388 I've messaged asking for VIN to run a history check, awaiting reply. Cheers for any help. And yes I know "you get what you pay for" but hey, there's something called a bargain....right?
  18. you may want to buy this http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/414201-5000-stagea/
  19. that's a nice view. I wish the windows at my gym weren't about 3m from the ground...........
  20. Thanks for answering my questions, it's not that I'm not interested because I AM looking for a GTT, yet I'm asking all these questions mainly because I'm very curious as to why it's priced as it is (though I can guess - and I was right). Having said that, it's way too expensive for me. So no problems!
  21. alright thanks for all the info. just noticed your car is registered as a sedan? good luck selling it.
  22. yes terry, as extreme as i may sound (i'm no oldie, only 22!) anything that removes the driver's eyes from the road should be minimised as much as possible. while satnavs in the centre console are all good and useful, seriously speaking they should have had the foresight to realise this would be reducing driver attention. plan your trip, have an idea where you're going. have a passenger. DON'T trundle along at 20km/h cos you're lost and looking at your satnav.
