R34 Gt-T Outside Air Temperature Sensor
darksky34 replied to Shoujiki's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
i wasn't aware that the series 1 had outside temp sensor, or else i'm just wrong. -
TTT is right. he said steak. on the other hand, Birds is also right. good wagyu is melt-in-the mouth beef of heaven. then on the other hand, here's my own gripe: all the people who say "wagyu beef". it's like saying Mount Everest Mountain. because wagyu = wa-gyu = wa(smooth etc etc) + gyu(beef). So by saying wagyu beef, you are saying beef twice.

hey guys, bit short notice but will be inspecting a GTT tomorrow in the liverpool area. I want to get it fully mechanically inspected, I suggested to go to Top Secret imports as i'm also getting another car checked out there but then liverpool where the seller is, says that it's a little far and inconvenient for him (30-50min drive) which i can see is reasonable. So, can anybody recommend any nearby workshops for a pre-purchase inspection testing compression etc etc? Or is my best option just to get State Roads inspection/on site inspectors? Keeping in mind I want everything tested as much as possible.

i don't think you need to add sir/madam into everything, that could possibly get a bit annoying unless you have a nice smile on your face and come across as genuinely happy. which basically leads me to say, just have a smile on your face, be friendly, and answer their questions. simple, really. unless they're really out to get you but then you're screwed anyway.

yes, i think that would also have been my main point to my suggestions, to give you some alternatives to situps alone. that is all.
-
Nothing's wrong with situps, just that after trying various exercises for the core, I've found that the normal situps are the least effective - note, I don't have a six pack visibly, so I'm judging this by strength increases/how sturdy my core is on a wide grip pull up etc etc. Unfortunately I don't have scientific evidence to back me up on this, which is why I alluded to broscience.
-
may i suggest that you replace your sit ups with other ab/core exercises? either this: http://www.bodybuild...me/cable-crunch or hang like you are doing a military press/wide grip pull up and then raise your legs together or knees up to parallel. Think gymnastic-type movements. they have super strong cores PS if this is bro science please somebody call me out, i'm suggesting what i find works for me. HAHAHA I just went and looked for the definition of broscience, i think i've possibly just fallen into that category.

get quite a sore spot with bruising for a few days after - recovers just in time to re-bruise it the next time around

Hey all, Just trying to get a prospective car FASTed, and this came up but the person who ran the FAST for me doesn't know what this translated to/it isn't in English anyway. Unfortunately i only have a screenshot and not actual text or else i could just run a web translation. So could anyone have a go at telling me what the two Japanese options are? First one is obviously something to do with UV protection etc. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=412019 thanks for any help!

thanks a heap Rob! i've figured out the rest of my model coding, but can't find what the KJB at the end means?

another good idea, if you never intend on making friends then that's a great way!
-
the shirt sounds like a great idea, as cliche as it may seem, i reckon it is perfect for this purpose and this purpose only (so please don't wear it outside of the gym). also, i doubt they are looking at your face, as red as it may be....
-
I think it should be this! even if by 1kg. always move forwards!
-
nice one birds. would not compliment/criticise a guy on their form for reasons highlighted here/other gym threads. Same as Birds and Troy, may be something to rest my eyes on during breaks, but otherwise i'm burning holes into the wall trying to finish a set.

possibly getting a 34 soon, will be doing the same things to it/her/him. missus won't be impressed, but hehehhehe good work on the lat pulldowns, 90lb is pretty beast!

Well, just called up 2 brokers in Sydney. Asked about "nissan skyline". 1. Sorry we don't do those vehicles, we are a relatively small broker and only do mums and dads types of cars. =( 2. advice given: It would be much cheaper to go direct to the insurance company than to go through a broker for this type of vehicle. also just tried to get an online GIO quote, BROKE THE WEBSITE Learning as we go!

hey guys, could anybody run this one for me? inspecting it next week, doing preliminary checks etc. ER34025070 cheers guys
-
this will definitely be useful, as i may be inspecting a 34 next week! on the other hand, can anyone recommend an insurance broker?

Hi all, Time to get things rolling. Looking to buy a GTT soon, so here's my criteria. Show me your car if you're willing to sell! 1. Budget of 14k - cannot stretch much further 2. Black, red or yellow I don't mind - if you have white or silver then you're welcome to save us both some time and don't need to offer. 3. Manual 4. Coupe 5. If possible, nismo kit. 6. Lightly modded (BOV, air filter, exhaust) or stock is preferable - no major engine mods wanted. And last of all, I'm in Sydney, NSW but am willing to travel to ACT/VIC if I must (but this may be a lot more hassle than necessary - but for the right car I'm sure it'll be worth it) PM me if you have something that suits me!
