  7. i'm downloading the english version from the usa site. i shouldn't need the pack should i? How big is it meant to be??
  8. Hey guys, thanks sydneykid for pointing me in the direction of http://www.apexi-usa.com but when i went there and downloaded the files they were 64 pages long and every page was blank! anyway, i was wondering if anyone had the SAFC II install manual and normal manual downloaded on their pc? If so could you email it to me or host it somewhere? email is jaff@internode.on.net James
  9. Has anyone else had a SAFCII tuned down here? or knows someone who has??
  10. watta rip off, i was doin the r33 gtst workshop manual for 5 bucks inc postage from tas back to topic. Looks good. I'm still using the stock air box too but i was gonna feed around to where the original snorkell joins up. will post pics too when i get around to doing it.
  11. ah, i'm in melbourne that weekend. damn. oh well, i'll be at the next one.
  12. yeah, new laws suck. I dont drag at all. I accelerate to the speed limit and thats it. I only got one car so without it for 48 hours would be a big pain in the arse. I'd like a go at a drag strip after I get my car tuned. There is one up north yeah? Should try and organise an imports drag meet. i'd probably lose everytime but that doesn;t bother me much
  13. i just got a SAFCII. Was gonna take it to Howells. Now not sure who to go to. Who's the best tuner in hobart?
  14. what sort of power they getting on a R33 gtst?
  15. PM'd
  16. ditto to above. just saw this thread. can we add in too?
  17. i get this all the time. just bought a SAFC II. Hope it fixes the problem.
  18. take a chill pill knore Interesting thread though. Thanks for the info.
  19. how can u test which coils may be breaking down?
  20. well, I generally mean in 2nd. you know, sometime you'll just floor it all the way through to redline to get to 100. I only do this to make sure the car is running ok. for quite a while when doing this the car has felt a bit weak. the hesitation is really annoying. just cant work out the exact problem. The majority of it has developed since i installed an FMIC tho
  21. so will a few cracked coils cause hesitation? I seem to have this problem. replaced the sparks and reset the ecu, fixed for a few mins then back to hesitating. maybe i should check the coils, hmm. btw it seems to hesitate at like 5000rpm, maybe sooner, and then rev out fine to redline. is this what you guys were experiencing?
  22. meh! where can i get a chipped ecu? also how much is a chipped ecu? would u be better off getting a SAFC anyway?
  23. I have the same problem. when i flick to 10 psi it stammers at like 5000rpm I have sparks gapped to .8 but no good. When running stock it is pretty much fine. I think i'll get a SAFCII to fix the problem.
  24. what colour is the car? that is if you are still selling anything at all?
