  1. Hi all, Selling my daily 1997 180sx Type S/ Type X I drive this car almost everyday, if not the bike, car has served me well for the last 2 years but time to move on to bigger and better. Car was originally very modded but i brought it back to standard to drive to work without issues of being pulled over. Car was bought cheap off a friend so i never bothered to really tidy up the car, would suit someone who wants a cheap type x or a p plater who wants a Type s. Currently a turbo car but i can supply the car with a non turbo engine installed instead of the turbo motor. The car is a Factory Type S (Non Turbo) but the car is running factory turbo gear. Year: 1997 Milage: 130 xxx, km's Engine: Blacktop SR20DET (Non VCT) Turbo is currently a T25g (no idea why) Transimittion: 5 Speed Manual Colour: Red Interior Very well maintained & clean interior with only a few marks overall Alpine headunit and front splits Pioneer & fusion rear speakers Factory Seats and carpet in excellent condition Factory floor mats (drivers side worse for wear) Factory Leather Airbag steering wheel (slight cracking on the top) Dash in excellent conditoin ( has 2 guages water temp and oil built into the passenger side of the dash) Mechanical Engine is showing its age, or maybe just turbo is but it is not the quickest 180sx out there, Would recommend comp test or turbo test before purchase as i dont know what is or is not wrong Sump has a minor oil leak (will pass roadworthy without fixing) Engine can be a tad noisy on start up if it has not been started in a while Exedy clutch installed a while ago, very smooth gear changes and its not too heavy to drive in traffic Standard suspension in good condtion Standard brakes with good pads Body The body is rough but not too bad, Car was bought with a widebody front end as such front was brought back to standard shortly after i bought the car so the whole front end is black (doesnt look bad having a red and black car but i dont support the bombers so its ideal) Factory Type X Side Skirts Brand new front bumper and side pods Bonnet in exellent condition and front guards are in good condition Rear of car has clear pealing off Roof has bad hail damage but 80% can be removed without paint Usual car park dints on the car Basically the car is not perfect but it is priced accordingly. Can be driven as is with no issues or brought back to mint the cost of the body work or basis for a build of some sort. Prefer people to come and see the car rather than request pics. Nissan 180sx S13 NON TURBO SR20DE Engine just had full service completed 1993 model with 62***kms or so, Digital climate control SR20DE Conversion Non turbo engine running well Ppg Painted Rocker cover with Cinnamon brown and purple pearl through 5 speed manual with good original gearbox, clutch feels good R200 big nose upgraded LSD New Engine oil, oil filter, Gearbox oil, recently changed diff oil, Aftermarket alarm with remote HKS Mushroom Air filter + New HKS Replacement foam just added S14 Intake pipe upgrade over s13 with bigger air resonator NGK new spark plugs SPLITFIRE aftermarket ignition leads Nissan NISMO 7 layer steel exhaust manifold gasket S13 standard exhaust with hi flow cat and resonator swapped over with a straight pipe (good tune not loud) Lowered suspension front BILSTEIN shocks with HKS Springs Rear KYB adjustable damping Shocks with KYB Springs Aftermarket adjustable rear Toe arms Rear solid cradle bushes in stealth black Turbo front and rear brakes with front aftermarket cross drilled discs Stock SR20 alloy wheels legal and subtle Tinted rear windows on hatch and quarters Aftermarket sports gearknob aftermarket gear leather boot Aftermarket 3 gauges Boost/Vacuum Water temperature and Oil pressure (just needs sender hooking up , sender supplied) Stock standard steering wheel, horn works electricals work A/C removed completely was never used and needed gassing, now looks clean and saves weight CD player there but hasnt been hooked up at all Silvia S13 Convertible Front matching seats Sleepy eye headlight controller What needs doing: Rear tail lights have to have plugs put on them to plug them in as it used to have ugly aftermarket rear tail lights, simple minor job might do it if I get some spare time Has few holes in boot from previous wing which is now gone some scratches here and there and tiny dents For the price and Being a hard to find non turbo later model 180sx with minimal kms on clock these are very minor things.   3. Hi All, Up for sale is a GReddy (Trust) V-SPL FMIC to suit S13/180SX SR20DET. This is the real deal MADE IN JAPAN V-SPL tube and fin kit. The ones that came out back in the day before they started to push out the cheaper cores like the LS-Spec and M-Spec bar and plate, which I believe are manufactured in Taiwan or thereabouts Here's a little extract I got from frsport regarding the M-Spec... "GReddy's M spec intercooler kit is very similar to the older RSPL/VSPL kits out in the market. This kit was made for an efficient budget setup with all required hardware and piping. Works great for vehicles pushing less than 300RWHP. At power levels greater than that, we recommend the VSPL or the RSPL kit." The kit I have is in great condition. The fins are all straight and the core is as new. No dents or damage whatsoever. The original kit came with rubber reducers and joins, but I have since replaced them all with genuine GReddy silicone reducers and joins, and they weren't cheap!!! Only reason I've taken it off the car is due to upgrading to an ARC intercooler. I'm after $500 picked up in Burwood East VIC, given that I paid $1250 back in the days. The LS-Spec and M-Spec are going for around $500+ as well, although they are polished core and a cheaper version of the V-SPL. Can post, but plus freight. Currently off the car and packed in the original box ready to be picked up or posted. The kit has been kept in great condition, and even have the original box. Good upgrade to measuring more air flow when stock AFM / MAF gives up, these are good for up to 500hp. Used but in very good condition, includes the rubber O-ring on the inlet side + Tomei Plug with loom.
