  1. New ECU Hi guys, I have a problem with my ECU and will look to purchase a new/used one over the next week. I am aware of the NATS issue and would need to get the ECU to talk to the BCM to get keys to work. Is the procedure the same as reprogramming "new" FOBs to work with the car? Meaning I could get Nissan to just reprogram my keys to the new ECU? Thanks
  2. Hey guys, Just recently reached 100k on my 2006 V36 350gt Skyline. Motor is VQ35HR. Just wondering what is required for the Major service? Or if anyone has any suggestions on parts or where to buy? Thanks in advance
  3. Hey people. I'm just wondering if anyone has any idea whatsoever what the issue may be with my V36. It recently started sputtering around 3200RPM as you can see in the video (Please ignore my dodgy display), nothing has been changed recently and I have tried resetting the ECU/throttle position/idle air/etc. I've checked for exhaust leaks and can't seem to see anything, the ecu is throwing a throttle position sensor code however advice from the interwebs mentioned to just reset the throttle position and nothing more. Happens in Auto and tiptronic regardless of gear, the only time it doesn't occur is when my foot is to the floor however that isn't feasible :P. Cheers in advance! Video of sputtering
  4. Hey guys, Just wondering if anyone knows what format the V36 plays on the onscreen display? Tried .avi, .mp4, none of them work by the CF memory card playback, or would the screen only play when it is copied over to the Harddrive
  5. Hey guys, Just recently reached 100k on my 2006 V36 350gt Skyline. Motor is VQ35HR. Just wondering what is required for the Major service? Or if anyone has any suggestions on parts or where to buy? Thanks in advance
  6. Hi all I'm chasing after an Ambient Air Temp Sensor for my V36, I believe she's the culprit for my misbehaving air-conditioned. Thanks
  7. Hey Folks. My apologies for a semi repeat post but I couldn't figure out how to edit the original, and I've had further clarity on what may be causing the issue. My Relevant Car Info: -06 V36 Skyline VQ35HR -Test Pipes -Stillen long pipe intake -Tuned with UpRev The Issue: Always under low throttle at the 3,000 - 3,200RPM range the car will misfire and shudder This occurs intermittently at medium to high throttle Only at this rev range (3,000-3,200RPM) Full throttle has no issues Makes no difference the gear Notable hum/bog sound from exhaust prior to this occuring between 2000-3000 depending on throttle/accelerator position. The only thing that has happened since I've had it tuned is repainted the calipers and its been running fine...well semi-unhappy with tune but fine for the past few months. Video of said issue What I've tried: Checked Throttle Bodies and cleaned Checked sufficient voltage is at the throttle bodies Checked plugs and coils Checked for exhaust leaks Checked intake and cleaned MAF & Pod Filters Checked MAF Voltage Checked Accelerator pedal position Had ECU scanned which originally returned codes such as throttle position sensor/accelerator position sensor, now its returning U1000 CAN bus communication/steer-ing wheel lock control unit/Signal: vehicle speed/Supply voltage/Select lever position/clutch switch PN signal/Steering column lock relay/ignition circuit monitoring relay/steering-wheel lock control unit. Most of these codes are irrelevant and most likely related to the aftermarket alarm/other electrical shit that's been done. A fellow is going to go over a few other minor things tomorrow just to double check if he can find anything, the original tuners put it down to possibly being the transmission however this doesn't explain why it only happens at this rev range nor why there aren't other issues. It's been said that its definitely a tune related issue although how can a tune pop out? Any further ideas or things to check would be greatly appreciated.
  8. 18 inch 370z wheels for sale full set of 4, fronts are 18 x 8 +43, rears are 18 x 9 +15, overall good condition, no buckles no cracks, tyres have 60% left, minor gutter rash. $700 350z brakes, these are the bigger non-brembo 06+ brakes, front rotor diameter is 320mm, larger than R34 GTt rotors, good amount of meat left in them (reckon around 70%), came off a 08' 350z Includes: rotors, calipers, pads, brake lines specs below: front rotor: 320x28mm; rear rotor: 308x16mm Front caliper: dual piston; rear caliper: single piston Cheap and a decent upgrade for non turbo skylines, fronts are direct bolt-on for r34 GT non turbo (with standard 14mm caliper bolt) and 03-06 non Brembo V35 and 350z (296mm rotors with single piston front and rear) Will need to enlarge the holes on the hubs by 2mm to fit non turbo r33 and maybe some non turbo r34, however, still a decent upgrade for a small amount of hassle Will not split the front and rear set, as it is cheap enough already $300 Pick up only, as they are bulky items
