Hey ppls.

Well, now that I'm all powered up, I'm taking my car to Calder Park for "Explosive quarter mile action" I'm "putting my wheels to the test" and all that crap.

Anyone else going?

I'm hoping to run a 12, hopefully a low one. Brisby is graciously lending me his semi-comps for a bit of extra traction, so with any luck I should also get a sub 2.0sec 60ft.

Anywhooo..... Anyone else wanna go?

SEMI is Gay man, come on, run street tyres. Oh well maybe run 1 or 2 passes with Semi.

Good luck, might come down and watch.

Raced mine last Friday, first time out with it, managed to run a 12.75 at around 106mph after a couple of high 12s, which wasn't bad, full street trim. Just tricky working out how many RPM to launch it at, too little it would bog down, too much and it spun heaps...

    • Ha ha ha, that's fair mate! We have the crackhead dogs now. Mainly because the missus wants the crazy dogs while she still has the energy and capacity to be able to keep up with them! Ha ha our current two are both Working GSD, there brothers and sisters (from the same litters) are in Police, Corrective Services, and I believe one did end up in defence force too. They're wild and fun, yet right now, both curled up asleep on the lounge room floor while we watch some TV. Mal is very likely the next dog (unless I get my couch potato guardian dog 😛 )   What are your Kitties names? Are you planning some house work, like those high kitty shelves, built in scratching post, and some cat passages from one room to another room?
    • Maine Coone, did look at but to big and fluffy As for performance dogs, we had Mals at work, performance dogs are fun to watch, but, way to much work for this old rooster
    • Yep, it was only an option on the Q50 Hybrid.  Same in Japan as far as I know. And doesn't use a centre diff like the Suby's do, so not the same as the WRX.  But it also isn't a reactive AWD like other Nissan AWD vehicles are, eg. Murano/Xtrail/etc.
    • You should have got a Maine Coone then. Only thing is they're big. But so cool, and just like a dog. Or, just get yourself a high performance dog. That'll teach you for wanting Parkour indoors 😛
