Front brake pads

rear brake pads

volk wheel nuts

apexi power intake

plenty of oil filters

tomei 310kph speedo

about 8 kilos of magazines and catalouges

plus heaps of stuff i cant think of off the top of my head

plus more stuff im picking up tomorrow

:) wish me luck for the trip home!!

tonight is roppongi. im about to head back to the hotel to rouse nick who i think is having a little nap after a big night last night. we will need our strength for tonight thats for sure.

loving japan. had mos burger for lunch today, and for a snack just tried the new ebi fillet burger which is like a tempura prawn fillet burger from macdonalds (shinjuku macdonalds to be precise :) ) mmm ebi fillet.

i am so screwed at check in :)

the view from the 17th floor rooms we have here in kabuki-cho is awesome. we are looking out over kabuki-cho to the straight and left and to the right up towards shinjuku station and shinjuku.

ok bitches i just got a call from my friend in roppongi to say he is finishing work soon, so i must be going.

benm, i will keep trying for you mate. perhaps one of them wont mind being ems`d back to sydney?

pete, a funny thing happend yesterday i was walking through kabuki-cho when a chick came up and asked me if i know the famous australian 31 drift legend. I said of course i know pete, she then asked if the rumour that you ride the zub is true? i told her to ask marky mark as since i sold the 31 neither of you will talk to me :)

wait for the pics boys, nick has enough photos to bring down the internet.

benm, i will keep trying for you mate. perhaps one of them wont mind being ems`d back to sydney?

If she objects to EMS just throw her in a container and tell her i'll be waiting at the docks in 3wks :)

Got to ask if there are any fast zeds there??

Also if you happen to find a ARC hollow rear sway bar for my boat as they no longer make and I WANT one??

Im sure some of you may have seen the news but its been snowing non-stop for around 24 hours here in the centre of Tokyo! unbelievable.

I contemplated snowboarding down the main street of Shinjuku but alas couldnt find a snowboard or some suitable Mcdonalds trays to use :P

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
    • I feel there must have been a FB/insta post and the weekend did not start well at all I hope everyone is all okay
