whats doing...couldn't post in their "for sale" section. couldn't work out why...so i posted in general chat and asked moderator to have it moved to appropriate section. Guess what....apparantly you have to have a certain ammount of posts there before you can put stuff up for sale. So instead of kindly informing me...as a few guys did.....the d1ckheads banned me....no warning, no nothing. So they want me to fill their site with posts of dribble to get enough posts to sell. Go figure?

Points and laughs hahahahahahah :D

No but, I know what you mean... tough times my friend tough times. They're all so sus over at ns.com... encouraging each other to post more and more and desert their real life friends just so they can post their car for sale.. then bang, banned...

Well... most forums will require that you have a minimum amount of posts before being able to sell. We don't want any runners!

I think you would have gotten banned for not reading the rules, which will probably tell you about the minimum post requirement. SAU has the same setup... but don't just make random posts about nothing. If you're new to a forum, announce yourself in a new thread, then reply as people ask or comment on your car or whatever the forums theme is.

i've been on nissansilvia for a fair while man

what is your username on it?

i will try get a moderator to clear it up

it is a bit stupid though banning you when you didnt know

rule is 100 posts first so people can read a decent post history and see what sorta person you are (their way of trying to fish out the dodgeys)

stupid alright...downright rude...username's the same DMD...couldn't care less now though...if thats how they are there.

I've been on NS for a few years and while there's a lot more 15 year old tossers that need to be banned from there you shouldn't discount the small number of people with lots of experience and serious machines.

Anyway, while banning was a bit harsh, the rules are there for a very good reason. I along with many others have been ripped off for a fair bit of money and such instances have decreased drastically since the rules were put in place. Think how many scammers could have been avoided on here if similar measures were put in place.

I was on there for a couple of days and saw alot of people in random threads post one word

or somthing saying

"ignore this need to get postcount to sell somthing"

so it's just making more spam and crap for the rest of the foumr - honestly I think 100 is a little high

It used to be 40 but after long discussions it was put up because its much harder to put in 100 spam posts unnoticed in a short time than it is to do 40. Of course there's people with 1000s of only spam posts, but not all in the 1 day to post up an ad.

Also, posts in the off-topic, members discussion rides and maybe a few others, don't count towards your total which helps reduce the spam a bit.

I'm all for a minimum post count on forums before you can advertise stuff.

Most of the forums I'm on are communities, not trading posts. Its about a group of people who are into certain hobbies.

The guys who own and run it pay out of pocket for expenses. If they get donations, its hardly enough to pay for the hosting and bandwidth. And they see nothing of the transactions that their system is facilitating (unlike commercial trading / advertising sites).

So if random tourists wander in to start whoring their wares without adding to that community, it just brings it down.

As for banning you, that's about right for ns.com. Petty little idiots. Let them stay in their sandbox.

how else am i gonna get rid of all these underbody neons

     hahahahahah!!!!

classic.

Ye, i post in spurts... it only ever happens when im totally bored.

Had one guy try argue with me (and he is a sponsor of the site) that street tuning a PowerFC was cheap (at $400) and that it was perfectly safe

cant see how safe doing 8000rpm in 4th is in my lifetime...

hehe n remember u cant bump your post, until it has reached 30 days.. hehe my thread got closed yesterday for bumpin..

meh, ns.com has so many little kiddies who talk BS!!!

Great make shift funnel when you cut the bottom of it off. This may work for your Corolla.   Unfortunately, tipping a 10L drum is much harder than a 4 to 6L bottle, and they no longer include the easy pour tap which was just perfection to use previously.
    • Guys since i bought r33 gts25t coupe 1994 automatic a/t(manual swap 350z gearbox)  all i got is problems, always problems. Lets start with that when i turn key into ignition(ON) fuel pump doesnt always works. Sometimes i have to turn key twice Off/on/off/on until it primes. Its new, dw300 - 340lph. My gearbox broke so i did gearbox swap, install different intake manifold, injectors and i take pipes. Car was sitting in garage for more than half a year. I did assembly all not that long ago and when i turn ignition cant hear prime. All of sudden it stopped working. Theres many videos on YouTube how to make relay mod on r33 straight from battery so i did and it doesnt work! 😰 30 - battery positive  87 - positive from fuel pump to relay 85, 86 - one of two wires from original fuel pump wires(light blue, grey) and it didn’t work. so I check on ignition and took original BLUE relays wires from trunk, next to fuses. (I believe it’s IGN+ and ECU pin 18. it didn’t work…  tried connecting (IGN+ from og relay) and (ECU 104 from 1of4 FPCM wires) to my new relay 85/86 and it didn’t work.  I unplug FPCM. Didn’t work. im thinking what’s wrong   fuel pump is working, if I leave IGN+ on 85 and 86 straight to ground it works but it’s just nonstop. Since it getting constant 12v after key in ON. light blue wire gives me 6-8v.  so how this should be connected? What causing ECU not giving — on pin? Or I did sth wrong and that’s why it doesn’t work? I need negative signal on ECU that control fuel pump. What this should be?
