Well the other half has organised a cruise for this friday night for

valentines day(we already did our valentines shindig etc).. So for those of

you who have made your plans for other nights and have friday free, or if

you partner loves being suprised with "look dear a car cruise, happy

valentines!" or even if your single. Get yourself to Scarbs top carpark at

8:30, maps will be handed out at the starting point. It has various types of

road twisty and long etc so you can stretch the legs of your car(within the

legal limits off course *cough*).

So hopefully we can see a good turnout this Friday 14th fo feb at 8:30

scarbs top carpark.

Please bring a UHF radio and have a full tank of fuel

I'll think about it. Planning on buying husband a MOMO steering wheel for my car (oops, I meant our car), just like he has always wanted. So whether I'll be alive to attend the cruise I don't know. Do you think he would notice if I just had it installed? Hmmmm.

Nah im going to sit at home n sulk (first vday single in 4yrs)! Might make an early trip down south for wedding on saturday (just to add further salt to the wound!)

How come you dont have a Valentine u are very pretty

Maybe you cant find anyone thats tall enough :cuddle:

Not sure what im doing yet...

Wont be driving my car on a cruise thats pretty certain!

Macka: Said like a true gentleman. For the record you are correct, about the pretty part that is ( No suck up comments required please :) )

Hehe yeah valentines day can be a bit depressing for all the singles amongst us. Also being recently single I can understand exactly what Nizmo is saying. This is my first valentines alone for 5 years now.... And in the last month or so have been to two of my friends engagement parties... Makes ya think... :)

On the plus side I didn't have to rack my brain this year for the perfect present again... :)

Macka,

You never say nice things like that to me:lol:

Being single ain't that bad, means more money for the car.

There are too many cruises at the moment, so I'll save myself for the officially sanctioned SAU events.

See'ya:burnout:

Yeah im glad about the pressie thing too - more money for the car :)

Thanks for all the compliments guys you are a bunch of sweeties!!

I may come along depends whether the oldies (going to catch a lift with them down to bunbury) are leaving friday night or saturday morning. If its saturday morning ill probably show up.

Glad to see you about and in once piece macka - shame about the car tho - about the only time i could probably beat it is at the moment!

hahaha....whoa....

i tried laughing but alas its fake......

I took the front wheels off and i have some bent wishbone and suspension damage as well....

I had a heart attack when 1 side was leaning further than the other then noticed i had 1 stand higher than the other...ggrr im gonna get ulcers....

I still cant open my drivers side door :)

    • So, this shouldn't be such a mission, but there were a few tricks so I thought I'd post up a DIY for it. This was on a Q50 Red Sport but I doubt any other V37 model is very different (maybe just less steps for the intake heat exchanger hoses) I pulled the radiator out to flush it because the car was running hot at the track, but obviously the same steps apply for changing a radiator for any reason including an upgrade. If you are removing the radiator, you of course need to drain and refill, so have 5+ litres of blue coolant ready. You don't need to drain the intake heat exchanger to remove the radiator but depending on your plans you may need a couple of litres for that as well. You will also need something to deal with the auto transmission lines, I used 2x 8mm rubber caps on the radiator side, and a short length of 8mm pipe on the car side.....unless you can block these lines quickly you will loose AT fluid and it may be enough to hurt the transmission if you don't refill it. Other than that....lets go... "First, jack up your car". Yes really, and put it safely on stands. If you are not confident doing that you need to give this job to a mechanic
    • If the forester is anything like our old 2007 GTB Liberty, I could near on run ling Long's and "rate them", as no matter what, it just hung to the road, even when abusing it in a hard launch in the wet, or throwing it at corners.
    • LOL, all of the CAI like Craig I just need to put a hole saw through my bumper Done and dusted, the car runs, which is nice, I'll take it for a spin when the weather clears up Just need to put the bumper back on for good
    • Brooooo Please send ABS control unit schematic Please! R33 gts25t ABS (Its two plug ecu, black and white) wire colors possible? [email protected]
    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
