funkymonkey
I'm sure you guys have had a chance to check out the JPNZ manuals (legitimate copies of course) of the Skylines. A couple of years ago I got the japanese service manual equivalents and was astounded by the amount of detail that was left out in the english translations. I guess it cost money to translate a lot of trivial stuff. In any case, rather than stick around for someone to translate the stagea service manual, I bit the bullet and bought a copy of the Japanese service manuals on CD . I bought it so I could better work out a Stagea/Laurel/Cedric AWD RB25DET transplant into my R32 GTS4. I bought my copy for $140, and its not that easy to come by due to some shrewd japanese auctioneers playing bidders off against each other. I'm happy to offer a copy of this to you guys for $20 (postage included to anywhere in Australia). I'll only be selling enough copies to make my costs back, after that you guys are more than welcome to do with them amongst yourselves as you please. Seeing as I just bought the manual about an hour ago, it'll be a week before I get the master copy, and a week after that before you guys recieve it. In this time I'll take expressions of interest in getting a copy (simply reply in this thread). Once the necessary number of copies have been accounted for, then I'll send em out. Here's what's covered: Models 20G 20X 25G 25X 25RS 25G-Four 25X-Four 25RS-Four 25TX-Four 25TRS-Four/RS-Four 25TRS-Four V/RS-Four V RS-Four S RS-V 20RS Included Manuals (ID shown in brackets) New Model Introduction - Sept 1996 (F046813) New Model Introduction - Aug 1997 (supplementary Ⅰ) (F046844) New Model Introduction - Aug 1998 (supplementary Ⅱ) (F046870) Main Service Manual - Sept 1996 (A046001) Main Service Manual - Aug 1997 (supplementary Ⅰ) (A046002) Main Service Manual - Aug 1998 (supplementary Ⅱ) (A046003) RB engine RB20E, RB25DE, RB25DET Engine Manuals Sept 1996 (A260W10) R4W71C, RS5W71C and FS5W71C, FS5R30A Manual Transmission Manuals - March 1987 (A261B06) RE4R01A Automatic Transmission Manual - March 1987 (A261C07) F160 Differential Manual - March 1990 (A261D05) R200, R200V Differential Manuals - March 1991 (A261D08) ETX13A 4WD Transfer Case Manual - Sept 1992 (A261K02) Steering Gear and Power-Steering Pump + Rack and Pinion system Manuals - April 1993 (A261H04) AV System and Navigation TYPE I Manuals - June 1997 (A264A05) Service Technical Information (STI) Connector Summary - Feb 1993 (N200005) Also includes the following diagnostic manuals: CONSULT - Engine - May 1989 (J00E000) CONSULT - Traction Control - Aug 1991 (J00W000) CONSULT - AV system - Aug 1991 (J00V000) CONSULT Common (revised edition Ⅰ) - March 1991 (J00M001) CONSULT Service Manual - RB engine - March 1991 (J10E004) CONSULT Service Manual - Automatic Transmission - March 1991 (J10T001) Couple of screen grabs: Now, ALL THIS INFO IS IN JAPANESE, so it may not be useful to those of you who don't have the patience to translate it or work it out. However it is still handy to have, if you have a basic understanding of how to read a service manual. Again I repeat, this is a JAPANESE manual, not a translated english one. However it is more intricate and thorough than any english translated service manual I've read for a japanese import. The manuals have been stored in Adobe Acrobat 7 format, so you'll need a compatible reader to open it. All chapters are bookmarked for easy navigation, and each book is stored as a seperate PDF. GoldZilla
Hmmmm, time for Japanese lessons? I know Japanese is not an easy language to learn, but like Terminal says, pictures can help make up for deficiencies in understanding what's been written for the time being. When you get enough numbers, I would be more than happy to meet up with you when you're next in Sydney, if that helps. I'm only about 15mins from the Dundas area. Cheers, Nick T. CruiseLiner
how long funkymonkey i need the manual to find out where this damn fuel return line goes inside the fuel tank Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/104317-japanese-stagea-service-manuals/#findComment-1924525 Share on other sites
beastien
From looking at the fast software, it looks like the return line connects back into the surge chamber, i can't quite tell but it looks like the fuel pump mounts inside this, i'm guessing it's a plastic enclosure of some type. It's showing the return line connecting into the bottom of the surge chamber (tank).
