I have a genuine LM gtr v-spec with the orignal bill of sale, log books and brochure with nismo upgrade options, it is the 2nd most rare skyline (400r is rarest) to date.

I have been offered 56k for my lm gtr it has 256klw and runs 11.9 at wsid it is in show room condition and i have all the orignal parts which i have changed on the car. Its a rare car and there is only 2 in australia which are real ,but i really want a r34 gtr vspec.

Do you think i should sell the car or advertise it to try and get more money for it?

NO! Wait until i have enough money  . Well if i have *plenty* of money i'll keep it. Consider how rare your car is and how rare the 34GTRVspec! I mean both are beautiful cars but i really think your is a bit more special.

NO!! unless you need the cash urgently keep holding it!!!!

You'll get more for it in the near future if you keep it. R34's arent going anywhere so you'll be fine :P

Edited by Mr Italy!

keep it mate as i have the same car here in brisbane. would you consider selling some of your parts tho?

the price of R34s r goin down rapidly as well as the normal R33s. so in a few years time your car will worth more than what it is now.

just a question, do u know how many of them were made world wide? coz u are the only other owner i know so far who has a real LM Vspec.

good luck

Mate mate mate, keep the car, it looks awesome, got any more pics?? Its a damn fine car and you would probably kick yourself to sell it for an R34 GTR, I know they are good cars etc but that car of yours is unique. KEEP KEEP!!

Sure it's rare, but it's hardly a collectable item. Cars are only worth as much as people are willing to pay for them. The car is unlikely to appreciate in value. 56k is a lot of money for an r33 gtr.

A lot of people would pick a an r34 gtr instead of that car, considering 34 vspecs can be had for around 60k these days.

Imo, consider yourself lucky that you have a genuine buyer for 56 and sell it. It's hard to find someone who actually values the car for what it is and you may not get the chance again.

Gotta agree with this, 56k is alot for a R33. Take it.

it took a lot of research for me to find out ,they made 100 and only released 98 ,nissan has 1 and nismo has 1,i dont have parts for sale because if i want to put it back to stock trim i can do it at no cost, but if need anything you can buy it from Just jap or Powerplay imports.

as for the price of r34 gtr vspec i cant find any blue ones under 80k and the price hasnt changed in the last year in my opinon,if you know of any place that sells them cheaper please let me know

thanx for the info, i did some research on it but no luck at all. so we own 2% of the whole world's LM Vspec productions, lol.

for the price of R34 GTRs, i only get my info from J-spec or USS auction from Japan. so once in a while, i do come across one or two cheap ones and i think if u are really lookin at buying one, you should ask a broker to keep an eye on the market. and i agree with u mate, i like the blues the best. good luck with it either way.

oh and did i mention that only 30 were the vspec model B)

hmm.. that's a hard one - personally unless you were going to upgrade to a R34 Nur I would keep what you have.. i'm sure all 100 aren't still on the road anymore are they.. maybe even you would find a buyer outside of australia for it..

as everyone said - it's only worth what some is willing to pay for it.. will there be someone later on wanting a "rare" R33 when the R34 gt-r's will be cheap as chips.. (not really but you get the point)..

good luck with your decision

    • So stock ECU does not like anything above 10 psi?  That Nistune one is just for "try" if it will be any different, I know it need to be tune for that. I know but YOU may know about these problem but i/we dont. They few little Skylines here let alone people who know anything about tham so that is why iam asking here
    • So now we have a radiator with no attachments whatsoever. It lifts up with a particularly tight spot between the drivers side air box mount and the lower radiator outlet, but if you've got this far you will sort that too. This is the lower mounts with the rad out so you can see where the rubber bushes go, it is a straight shot upwards Done! Assembly is the reverse of disassembly, with blood less likely to be shed.
    • Right, onto the second last trick. The Air Con condenser is mounted to the front of the radiator and stays in the car when the radiator is removed. There are 2x 10mm headed self tappers holding the top of the condenser to the radiator, remove those The bottom of the condenser is attached to the radiator with clips. You need to lift the condenser out of those clips and clear (up, then forward). f**ked if  could work out how to do that last bit with the front bumper on. I hope you can, and you share the trick.  Bumper removal probably deserves its own thread one day once I've recovered the will to live, but basically you need to remove the wheels, front inner guard liners (clips and 10mm headed bolts), the self tapper between the guard and the bumper at the rearmost point of the bumper (same as an R32 that bit), any remaining clips at the top/front of the grill, an absolute bastard design with a plate that holds the top of the bumper above the headlight each side (only 1 bolt which is tricky to get to, but the plate catches 2 places on the bumper and must be removed....carefully!) and push clips between the bumper and guard under the headlight. If you've done all that you will be faced with wiring for the fog lights on both sides and in ADM Q50 RS at least, 4 nasty tight plugs on the driver's side for the ADAS stuff. So, the clips at the bottom look like this on drivers side (looking from the front) And on the passenger side (also from the front), you can see this one is already out Clearance on both of these are super tight; the condenser needs to move up but the upper rad support mount prevents that, and the radiator can't move down far because it is (rubber) mounted. Once you achieve the impossible and drop the condenser off those mounts so it does not stop the rad moving, you are good to go
    • OK, next the shroud needs to come off and there are a couple of tricks. Firstly, there is a loom from near the passenger side headlight to the fans, coolant temp sensor etc and there is no plug to undo.  In my case I was OK to leave the shroud on top of the engine so I just undid the passenger side fan plug and about 10 of the clips which gave enough free wire to put it aside. The fan plugs were super tight, the trick I used was a small falt screwdriver to push down on the release tab, then a larger flat screwdriver to lever the plug out of the fan unit....be careful with how much force you apply! If you need to remove the shroud altogether for some reason you will have to deal with all the plugs (tight) and clips (brittle)....good luck. I removed all of the clips and replaced them with cable ties that I will just cut next time. Also, in the Red Sport / 400R at least, the intake heat exchanger reservoir hose is bolted to the shroud in 2 places with 10mm headed bolts; so remove them (the hose stays in the car; no need to undo it at the t fittings down at the radiator lower mount. Once you've dealt with the HX hose and the wiring loom, there are 3x 10mm headed self tappers holding the top of the shroud to the radiator; remove those.   The shroud then lifts out of the bottom mounts where it sits on the radiator, up and onto the engine out of the way. Simples
    • Ok, disregard my “rate them” comment, sorry for my unrealistic input
