hey,

got snapped doing roughly 100 in a 60 zone,

whats the penalty? number of points? size of fine?

its exactly what i needed at this point in time, not enough cash to get the gtr finished, plus the lappo i was driving broke down (shat alternator)

i was asking for it though, been pushing my luck..........

anyways.....

fark count yourelf lucky 45+km/h over!!!.....in vic it used to be 30+ over and an automatic loss of licence. I believe as of jan 1st that has been dropped to 25+ over :O

Depending how rough your estimate of 100km/h is, they drop off some speed due to camera error so you may drop under....

from memory.

9 and under = 0p - $50

10 - 19 = 1p - $100

20 - 29 = 3p - $150

30 -39 = 4p - $250

40+ = 6p. -? dunno, 300?

or its 0-10, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40 and 41+ :O

mate has been done for 50odd over and only got done for 6 points, in the rules book though it does say anything over 45 is loss of licence.

    • If there's enough meat in the housing where you want to put the M12 adapter, then do it, but be aware that if/when you f**k that up you'll probably be repairing it before doing anything else. I'd just drill it out and tap ina 1/4" thread. No need for rocket surgery when the next most obvious thing will do. You could throw a 1/4 x 1/8 bush in there and use the same fitting you intended to use.
    • Is the only issue that the oil catch can is getting filled on hard runs? I'd be thinking more about oil control issues rather then the head lifting, especially as you aren't seeing spiking in the coolant pressure.  Do you need restrictors in the head, or better drains from the head? Does the sump need venting to the catch can?
    • Tried to make 1/8npt threads into compressor house of the turbo for my EBC. Threads got fu#ked and ended up with and elongated hole, so I do have good amount and nice threads 90% of the hole but 10% I only had 1-2threads there and rest of it is flush on that side of the hole.. So my idea is to do M12 x 1.25 to AN4 with braided lines instead of 1/8npt to 4mm vacuum silicone hose.  and hopefully get a better thread. M12 is quite big and AN4 is a little bit bigger than 4mm (4.9mm inner diameter braided PTFE hose). but this should work. Thoughts? Otherwise I will weld and adapter onto the turbo.
