Wanting to respray my R32 nismo GTR, put some nismo lm gt4 rims on it, along with the current NIsmo body kit.

Can i get the Nismo style decals for the entire car? I have seen them on photos and on the following forum.

$3,000 a set?? Someones making some money... haha

I can only locate the Nismo side stripe for the E51 ElGrand (Big ass van) as it's the only one that would seem long enough for an R32 GT-R. I guess that the Z-tune and all those just use the same generic Nismo stripe, but just cut it down in length for whichever car it's going on.

I can have it sent to your door... just PM me.

so your saying that u cant get a decal set for the R32 nismo GTR? They dont exist? or hard to get hold of?

I was told they come up for sale on the US ebay... i havnt had a chance to look but will tonight.

I also have a 93 vspec R32.... with the vspec decal on right hand rear.. can u get these in Oz?

Cheers.

you might wanna ask your local nissan dealer, after all Nissan Australia is now setting up to sell Nismo edition cars (as exhibited at the motorshow).

Although stripes are weaksauce... if you want to show real support for Nismo, then you need to paint you car in signature red and silver shreds.

Official decals from Nismo are reserved for their own democars.

But like all things you can get good copies or you could get them from some custom shop.

yeah, i think it was a signal set, or kazama or something. but i remember the price. 200 000yen. I assumed that like most things nismo would be even more expensive. the price of japanese stickers in general is pretty hard core. there are yeaps of small ones that are 2 or 3 thousand yen.

Whats everyone going on about? Reserved stickers? Don't sell them (anymore)?

- Nismo sell official Nismo stripes, and all the nismo logos off their site. Originally I could only find them for the K12 March (too short for an R32) but since found them for the ElGrand (bloody long), 350Z etc (also too short).

- They don't actually sell a 'stripe kit' for the R32 or R34 as far as I know, even though they were at the Nismo festival with such stripes. But - as I mentioned earlier - you can get the ElGrand genuine Nismo stripes and cut them down to fit the R32 GT-R... thats what I would do anyway.

- As Circusmonkey mentioned, you could probably have them reproduced fairly cheaply in vinyl, but for those wanting the real deal, Nismo have them. Got $$$ to spend on stripes? Then go for it. Personally what Funkymoney said is showing real support.

Thanks Rezz

I studied Nihongo for 7 years and studied there, but my Japanese is not that good now, as a have become a farmer.

I would love to be able to go onto the Nismo site and order the ElGrand (body long) like u suggest but my reading skills are not like the used to be.

I am happy to get the real deal, and pay for them if i can do it.

any suggestions

thanks for correcting me sky34. funny though that i dont recall saying superman is selling stickers for $3000. i did say that in tokyo, i saw people with the full stripe kit for sale at 200 000yen. I can see how you could get confused between the two.

    • Just trying to get my head around this. At 5psi of boost, you turn on your wmi pump, and then you're using a 3000cc injector, to allow flow upto the actual engine, where you have your 6x200cc injectors and a 500cc injector. If the above is correct, what advantage are you obtaining by having the 3000cc injector blocking flow, is this just incase a line breaks between that injector and the motor you can stop flow immediately? Or are the 6x200cc and 500cc less injectors and just spray nozzle?
    • Welcome! New member myself, but I had an R33 back in 2002. Best advice I could give, based on my experience: if you're running the factory turbo, be very conservative with boost. I made the mistake of just fiddling around with the boost controller and cranking the boost for fun, and the end result was my intake pipes popping off frequently from the constant deluge of oil that was being blown into the recirc by the stressed-out turbo, which itself was siphoning oil from the engine and farting it out both sides of its centre bearing (or something to that effect). If I could do it all again, I would have gotten a new turbo and had a tune dialled in professionally and then just left it alone! Funny you mention the metal shavings in the gearbox, as I had the same thing - the probe plug (magnetic drain plug, essentially) would come out caked with shavings. At least it was doing its job. Not sure if that's just sacrificial wear and part of the deal, or if my gearbox was shagged, but I wasn't abusing it. Enjoy the R33 - they're a dying breed, and if they weren't $35k+ on CarSales in Queensland, I might have picked up one of those again, instead of the 370GT I own now (though I'm loving the 370GT, that big 3.7L V6 just hits different).
    • Howdy folks. I owned an R33 back in 2002, which was thoroughly beyond my capacity (financially speaking) to maintain/insure, so we parted ways in 2004. Fast forward 21 years (to literally yesterday, in fact) and I'm now the proud owner of a 2007 V36 370GT. I'm happily surprised by how much power the VQ37VHR makes, compared to the RB25DET, considering the latter is turbocharged. I had planned to add a turbo at some point but I'm on the fence about whether I'll even need it (though I do love the sudden onset of extra torque). Any other 370GT owners around the traps, I'd love to hear about your experiences with this car (good and bad).
    • Perhaps the answer is... more jacks!* *proper jacks must be used.
    • I NEVER think about using a scissor jack unless there is absolutely no other alternative. f**king things are dangerous, annoying and stupid.
