Go to Works auto or is it Auto Works in bentley i allways get them mixed up:confused: anyway i went looking for a front bar and they had the best quality kits by far.The thing i liked most about them was the thickness of the fiberglass nice and thick no chance of warping in the sun :uh-huh:

all i am after is a nice front bar, nothing too over the top like a veilside bar, just neat and looks better than my UGLY standard one, some of the 400R look-alike ones i have seen look good, i do know alot of the places that supply them, but just not sure of the good ones.

hehehe, me a bitch?? im gonna go sit in my corner and cry now :D

hehehe, nah i was meaning the really OUT THERE veilside fronts, i have seen your one and it is nowhere near like the other veilside ones, hey i never even knew it was veilside bitch........ :D

(oops, im back in my corner)

400R front and i think they are 400R rears aswell, the rear is just the pods that stick on to your existing bumper, i already have 400R sides and a GTR wing, just gotta wait 2 weeks for the pods to come in and then get it all fitted up, works auto took care of it all, so its much easier than having to find a painter to paint them after ya get them...

paul:

i think i mite cancel it now that i know your associated with the painting side of things, just jokes :) better be a good job, its gonna be a hard one to colour match i rekon :D

Dan:

ummmm not to sure, cause it was just a all up price for the whole lot, fitted and painted, but i think the pods were about $120-$160 just supplied not painted and fitted, but there nice pods, they had 2 different types of pods, i saw the ones that you see alot of around but they had these other ones that were a bit bigger, made it look a bit fatter, so i went for them.

Riaz:

if ya still wanna take a look at the bleeder thats kewl, but still wouldnt mind seeing the bumper just to see what kind of job they did for future reference. but whenever if ya wanna wait till next cruise or so, thats kewl

hope i didnt miss anyone

Cam.

Cam,

No, I'm not painting them, but the owners of Works Auto have a paint shop associated with them, so you can alwyas get stuff done via the one place.

If you want me to paint it I will, but I wouldn't count on how good it would look.

See'ya:burnout:

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
