Hi,

anybody out there know if injector high flowing is available in Adeliade, and an idea of cost would be good too, esp when comparing to new/second hand upgraded injectors.

Also anybody got any comments on whether this is safe to do.

I have heard about problems in the past with getting decent spray patterns, but there still appears to be a bit of it being done, and by reputable tuning shops over east such as Croydons.

Thanks

Steve

sounds like an idea to me steve.

i'll be watching to see if people do know anything about doing this, i'd never heard of it.

i'll be keen to see where if and where it can be done, or just if people can recommend anybody to flush and flow test injectors in adelaide.

I've had mine hi flowed - Hills Motorsports got it done 4 me (dunno where tho) - They are flowing at 610ccs now - you get a report back with them - So far working fine !

Don't ask how $much$ cause I don't know.

See here for details:

/edit : Soz, just realised this is in the SA section - Hills is in NSW - der - anyways, hope the info helps.

Cheers,

Pawley, yeah, thought it might be better than buying some second hand and not being 100% sure - if I cant find decent facts, I will probably just buy new ones, bosch sell top feeds for about $95 new I think.

Thanks Brandanf, I sent them an e-mail anyways, if worse comes to worse, I might just send them over there to get done.

Cheers

Steve

  • 2 weeks later...

Well, I found a guy in brisbane who will highflow 6 injectors to 500+ (within 1% of each other) for $400, includes cleaning and new o rings and has a turn around of 2-3 days.

Still not sure though whether to go Sard new as I can get these for about $800 new (customs willing)

Anybody have any thoughts

Steve
