Well there's a really big one on the corner of King and Flinders St.. you can't miss it! I think it's about $18 for a main meal ;P

There's Watergrill on Toorak Rd Sth Yarra which is also in the Ent Book. Its a gold class restaurant 20-30 for a main.

Lobster Cave is also in it and another gold class rest'.. err.. pricey is right!! $40 for a main.. entrees are $21-25

The anchorage in Williamstown is about 25-30 for a main course.

Melbourne Oyster Bar is on King st 25-35 mains. Seafood platters $75 each.

Theres also Waterfront in Southbank, Tides Seafood & Oyster in Port M and Kerferds by the Sea in Albert Park. ;)

Personally if I was going to eat seafood I'd probably just go to a Japanese restaurant caus you know it will be fresh and exc service..

Except I don't eat seafood so don't ask for a review on any of the above :)

There's D'Lish Fish Fish & CHips shop at Station Pier, Port Melbourne which IMHO sux. haha

Seriously though, there's also one which is sposed to be nice, but a bit dearer than Rex Hunt's overpriced hovel near it on the pier.

Is that the one owned by Rex Hunt? If it is the one I am thinking of, I agree. Very average and plenty better.

Hey ash see Sky031's Signature there... It says "Click here for R31 Skyline and Pintara Information!!"

Notice how he says Pintara!!!

Hey smartass, I dont think Kaz will like being called that! Back at ya! :D:P

:P

Best stop whoring Becs thread :(

You idiots :D

Anyhow, went to the Conservatory @ Crown.... lots of seafood... $65 a head i think... or there abouts.

Prawns, oysters, lots of styles of fish both hot and cold... crab...

lots of other stuff too, top night. Buffet too... so all you can eat Prawns :P

depending on what sort of place you are after, one of my favourite seafood restaurants is Toofeys in Elgin St, Carlton. i actually went last night :P

quite small, very classy, a little expensive, awesome food and service.

menu changes DAILY in relation to what fish is fresh that morning at market, thats how good the quality of food is.

only open tues-sat as fresh market seafood is unavailable sun & mon mornings, open for lunch and dinner.

there is another one in St Kilda too (different name, may be same owner), but apparently isn't quite as good as Toofeys.

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
