My turn my turn. I estimate that with the 10% lower difference this dyno seems have the reputation of giving, and with wind resistance and other factors such as gremlins in the rollers and bogans looking on, about.... hrmmm... I dunno... 290rwkw... ooh, wait. We'll put our SAU shticker on first, and that'll bring it up to AT LEAST 295rwkw. Yeh! Pwns you all. Muhahahah.

Sorry guys, bored on reception. There's no estimation here, ours has already been dyno'd, we're just interested to see how different this one can really be. The real test will be in 3/4 weeks time, when all the work's done

estimating what you think you would get doesnt hurt.

or even mentioning what you got on your last dyno wouldnt hurt either.

It does hurt..because it is pointless and crap and not what the thread is for

hmmm, but on the other hand it would be interesting to see what a 'stock' neo6 delivers at the wheels...then you would know the power before you started mods :D

This is true Ben, and as such, I now have a new clutch and will read better now so hopefully the full potential of my mods will be revealed. This all depends if the car survives the track day on Tuesday.....

I'd like to buy membership on the night too if possible :P

Yes, that is most definately possible...just bring your cash ($55) and be prepared to answer some nosey questions from me :D

I will have to post your kit to you for the following reasons:

1. I won't be able to bring the laminator with me

2. I'm waiting on more privilege cards from Bob Jane to arrive

Cheers,

Karen

Arhhh damn Garry, was looking forward to showing you the car... I know you really wanted to see it...

I might just get there for a look yet :D flight gets back to Brisbane at 6:05 pm and I have to drive right past Allstar to get home .. won't stay to long tho .. the day will have been rather long by then

UPDATE :

It has just been pointed out that this is NEXT week .. not tomorrow ..

So looks like I will be there to spectate after all

Col, can you update your POST please?

Nathan (Insane001) is a member of SAu Qld (member 87), therefore should only have to pay $45.

Cheers,

Karen

No worries done and done... Hard to tell members from non members these days...

Hehehehe Thats funny, Ill see ya there then after all...

Why estimate? The dyno will tell us..that is what it is for

The car world is far too full of "estimates" as it is..we dont really need more here

I am an estimator, and I resent that comment...

Anyway, IF I have my car back by then, I might come, see whats doing. No dyno for me tho, $45 to tell me how much power I dont have, better of paying off the car. Good fun to watch for a bit tho.

    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
    • Hey mate,  I have a set, one is slightly damaged but wont be noticable once installed.  Shoot me a message if your still after them
    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
    • You have a knack for photography my friend. It makes the 86 look like a complete bucket. The 34 went with you to Europe and back. It's special. (we all feel the same about our 'shitboxes' that every bystander seems to absolutely love)
