WGMG - Sony

I have a sega master system, that is eleventy bazillion years old, and still plays sonic the hedgehog perfectly, not to mention the built in game "alex the kid"

but get sucked into the whole "media centre" type set up, and the supposedly top of the line 320G slimline POS3 lasts less than 5 months before it shits itself in a major way that requires it to be sent to the other side of the fkn planet so 6 year old chinese children in a sweat shop can resolder the circuit boards. Not to mention the fact that it has taken all my recorded TV and all my save game data out with it, and made ornaments out off all the assecories I have spent up big on.

Oh, did I mention it also burnt out the HDMI data board on my irreplaceable HD CRT television, that was only 3 years old, and Sony refuse to even look at?

WGMG... i challenge anyone to ring up a random car wrecking place n see if you can get anyone with some sort of emotion answer the phone. They'r bloody lifeless! Then they just hang up if they dont have your part. "nuh dont have that - click." every single person sounds the friggin same also! - Just once i wana ring up one time and get a lil old irish lady answer n be soo helpful n forgiving when she doesnt have the part then she'll tell God to bless me before saying "goodbye dear"

I guess what really grinds my gears is not finding my part haha

agreed but ill extend it. Being from a retail back ground i find that customer service in general has gone down the drain alot (sorry to say but i find WA more so than Vic too). I got better service via email from a sydney based company when i was chasing a part for my MTB, most bike stores here said 'no cant get that' and the store i got the bike from could only get a price once I had given them the part number from their own supplier!!! Then he wanted to charge me $28 inc postage when i could get it from the syd company for $9.

ha!there's a guy from the quokka.you feel as if you're offending him if you ask for a particular part.and his entusiasm to serve you extends to his haste in finding that part.above, your comments, very apt.

WRGMG is the Victoria Ave/Terrace Rd carpark.

The other week, the only parking spot left was under some stupid tree that grows stupid berries that some stupid birds eat and then shit all over your f**king car. Got to my car after work to find the bonnet, windscreen and roof covered in a solid 15mm layer of semi-digested berry bird shit.

Yesterday, had to drive in, parked in that carpark but NOT under one of those stupid trees only to come back to my car after work to find it COVERED in salt spray

+1 for there being zero good parking spots in Perth at all. No matter where you park you always come back to find bird s**t, tree sap, berries/seed things, or to find you were parked near a jealous commodore driver who couldn't resist the frustration of owning a crap car, and runs a key down the side of yours.

    • No, code 21 is very straightforward. It can only be the things described in that diagnostic flow. In fact it has no way of knowing that the spark plug resistance is out of spec.
    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
