G-Day all

Was sitting here just wondering on how many people on this site owned 4 door Skylines

in the 32 33 34 series. And thought it would be good to have somewhere to discuss our cars

such things as...

how long ya had it

what mods (if any)

what ya think of it

any problems????

the list can go on and on

so pop up a pic or 2 and lets go from there ...... Cheers

Bah, they're all cefiros in there, but feel free to move this one there rather than having another started

I've had mine since July last year (argh crap, that means insurance is due next month :D)

I bought it with a whiteline sports suspension kit fitted, and a hks turbo timer. Since then I've added gold Work VS rims, a batmbl split front pipe, hi-flow cat and a trust exhaust. For deca I added a switch to enable high boost mode at low revs.

Future plans include... something different :D

I think it's great, I get no attention from the police at all so far :)

had it a year, love it to pieces :D.

far too many mods to list

a few problems here and there with it getting old (like fuel lines and fuel pump being replaced)

LMAO..2

Before this gets out of hand i better let ya know were im coming from..

I just thought having a SKYLINE sedan section in the Skyline section could

be a good thing. I use the SKYLINES & OTHER VEHICLE SPECIFIC DISCUSSIONS all, the time

Under the CEFIROS & OTHER NISSAN. PERFORMANCE SEDANS..whoops i should say

CEFIROS & OTHER JAPANESE TAXIES... at the end of the day this is a 80% Cefiro forum..

there is nothing wrong with this .Its a great forum got good people good discussion .But i dont

own a Cefiro ..There are a lot of Skyline sedans out there now a new subforum could be a good thing

CHEERS

G’day Guys I have a 1992 R32 GTSt M Spec 4 door which is awesome cause there isn’t too many around, everyone comments about how they never see them and I recon that they look awesome too. I’ve had it for 6 months now.

Modifications include:

Apexi pod fliter,

Apexi dump pipe and muffler with 3 inch turbo back system,

Apexi SAFC2,

Apexi AVC-R with 3 boost settings (standard, 12psi and 14psi),

Custom made front mount intercooler,

Tein fully adjustable coil over suspension which is set nice and low :) and

A nice sound system and a newer steering wheel (the old one had it).

Cause it’s a 4 door it doesn’t draw too much attention especially with the mods it has and insurance is cheaper which is always a plus.

rchoo, CrispyFries and Sarumatix I recon your 4 doors look great.

Its used to be a 4 door forum but for whatever reason they decided to change it to ceffies mainly forum... which is probably cause most of the 4 door owners posted in their own state forum and never used that one. Only the ceffy guys did... me included.

Cheers. yeah im a flying instructor at essondon airport and just went in one night with a mate and his skyline and did some shots, not all of them turned out that good tho but hopfully i'll do another shot later.

    • Wife wanted basket things in the wardrobe in our temporary house. Thought about ripping our the wardrobe and fitting the entire IKEA set, but it's a temporary house and we want to move in a few years. So IKEA advertises this as a 50cm unit, however the actually basket and rails measure 46cm wide. Only issue was depth, IKEA stuff is quite deep, where as the builder special junk is super shallow at less than 40cm. Send it, chopped the rails, then offset the mounting holes, job done, happy wife, less shit scattered all over the bedroom. Did the same to the other side too. Also drove the Skyline shit box today, dropped off oil at Supercheap Auto. I didn't realise they only now take max 2x bottles per visit. I visited 2x Supercheap Autos.
    • I've seen similar actually in my situation. You never know what tables are attempted to be used when the car thinks it's -99C or +200C. The fail state is not usually that extreme but you know what I mean - it was in my case though! This is where being able to read all the sensors is useful cause you see this stuff really quickly.
    • The above is very important. However as long as you keep timing relatively low, it's plausible to make your own knock ears and plausible to learn to tune with a modern ECU that can do wideband O2 correction like a boost controller. I mean if you only have one viable road to even drive the car on, learning to tinker to this level may be worth doing given you can't do much else with the car...?
    • I find the fact that the rear plate has to be bent inwards at the rear not so bad: but the front is just awful: It's like come on. (these are my very old, now retired/turned in plates) TBH it is a lot of money to fix a minor issue, the fact I said "I'll never really spend the money on doing this" is why people ended up buying them as a gift for a 'car guy' who can be hard to shop for.. for car guy things.
    • I just bent the ends of my premo plates. It even went through Regency like that after the engine conversion and the inspector (a great bloke!) just squinted his eyes and said "I didn't see that". Plates, and how they look, are just something that have zero importance to me.
