str8g
I had gone for one of my usual drives when suddenly the car began to loose power. I had to gear down so as to give the car more power. This worked for a while but whenever Id boost above 0 on the boost gauge my car would slowly begin to loose power. The idle on the car was rough and when i stopped at the lights the car almost went off a couple of times. There was also a lot of black smoke when i looked behind. When i came to a stop i could smell a lot of fuel. The following were checked: Spark plugs- found a lot of black stuff on them. Probably un burnt fuel computer- changed and got a power FC Intercooler- checked for any holes or loose pipes didnt find anything Checked ignition coil and module- they seemed to work. AFM- seem to work well on another skyline. Fuel pump- checked and seems to work Bosch 044 I havent got a fuel regulator coz i still have the standard turbo and the fuel pump worked fine with no problems for about 5 months. WHAT COULD THIS BE! STRESSED. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/119254-r33-wont-drive/ Share on other sites

blind_elk
Not being able to boost almost always points to a loose connection in the induction plumbing. And get a bloody fuel pressure regulator!
