how fat are these fat rims dave?

They really arent that fat, just spaced out (front have 1mm caliper to wheel gap) rears are 235s, but the dunlops seem fatter than the equal bridgestone tyre. Either way they grip REAL good, considering they arent fully run in yet either.

super man, the man

Hey f**k head, if you have a problem with the clutch then maybe you should ring the people who rebuilt it. Let me guess, you dropped it from 7 grand 20 times and the clutch didn't like it. Geez that's too bad.

hmm im not feeling alot of love in here

There is no love. Don't worry, you think Greg is your friend now but he will stab you in the back later on. He will say and do things and then deny ever doing or saying it later on. I know of a few other friends he used to have but he shat on them also....all for stupid reasons. But clearly Greg thinks it's a game.

And putting signs up on people's cars and doing burnouts at service stations and other equally stupid places is only proof that he is a knob. If he ever cares to grow up then he will see what he has created. And instead of being mature and trying resolve the issue he just hides behind his Dad. I was warned against doing anything for him from the very beginning by people who he called friends and now I know why. I regret ever meeting the little worm.

F**K Shane...

Im filled with anger... I really am...

A mate of mine was beaten and thrown on the railway lines. I really hate those sorts of people. I guess it pays to go out in large groups. Dont you just wish you had the chance of returning the favor to those who did it to you. Lucky your in one piece tho man, a guy was stabbed to death last saturday night for his wallet in breakfast creek.

A mate of mine (who is a tiler) had to work on a few railway stations at night for obvious reasons. Replacing that little yellow line on the edge of the platform with a row of yellow tiles. They had 4 rail security guards to stay with them at all times while working due to the drunks and the gangs who seem to love QLD rail.

I don't seem to get hassled either...... don't know why...... must just have that don't-f@%k-with-me aura?????

Although, it seems that little guys with a large chips on their shoulders do try every now and then.

don't know why you don't get hassled Dave... you look like a pretty easy target to me? :D

and yeah, it seems to be the young kids with something to prove who make the biggest stand...

at Bray Park train station i had a group of about 5 or 6 young teenagers (up to around 16) come up to me as i was walking across the overhead bridge (alone)

the youngest one stood in my way and wouldn't let me past, started mouthing off, pushing me etc...

i ended up picking him up with one hand and 'gently placing' him into the railing.... his friends sorta backed off a bit but another one decided he was going to be a tough guy and put out his cigarette on my arm....

i just looked at him like "wtf?", gave him a gentle tap to the stomach and continued on my merry way to catch the train....

another time i had some guy following me down a dark street in the city, he was walking faster than i was to catch up... i knew he was there for a couple of minutes... when he eventually caught up, i just turned around, ready to smack him one, and he freaked out... wasn't expecting me to notice him, and ran off like a little girl... haha... i saw him in a club again later on that night and he basically ran away again

I don't seem to get hassled either...... don't know why...... must just have that don't-f@%k-with-me aura?????

Although, it seems that little guys with a large chips on their shoulders do try every now and then.

They have probably all noticed you from somewhere before, but they just cant place where... Then 3 months down the track they work it out when they are back in the lock up.

    • I can get more photos of it here soon and I plan to make a thread detailing the process. I received the car this way and it sorely needs refinishing. That is probably the most appealing photo of it. Up close it is fading, cracked, and needs to be re-glued. Depending on their condition I'm on the fence between refinishing or making a new set.  Another angle hiding the pimples and razor pumps
    • According to this thread the RS4V with build plate RC40 comes with the R200 diff @ 4.083 ratio as well (mine has said RC40 denotation). We may need to check if the axle stubs are the same pattern as well. The auto subframes have longer axles. However I think yours being a later Series 2 as well, we should have the same bolt pattern for the diff stubs. Unless your upgraded rear also has upgraded axles. Either way, I would not be opposed to pulling the covers to check so I can inspect that  fancy rear core  Also I don't have HICAS. I don't believe that should change things but I hope the people here with heaps more experience than me can correct me if I'm wrong   Let me know if you want to attempt to make this work and I can get some pictures of mine from under the car.
    • It's not that straightforward. For example I have had this code because my ignitor/power transistor wires were unplugged. It knows something is wrong but has no idea what it means. If you want to actually diagnose this I recommend following the service manual flowchart for code 21. Ohm out the harness, coilpacks, inspect the ECU, etc. And again, it's entirely possible for there to be no problem at all but if you're running a different coilpack it'll trigger the code because it doesn't like what it sees.
    • If it (the code) wasn't still current, it should have gone away by itself by now. No, nothing it 10/10. But it is quite likely. Everything else to do with the ignition could still be responsible (which is wires and connectors). The car is an old piece of shit now, so all the wires and connectors are also old pieces of shit.
