shane, long story! but you`ll understand all in due time.

but seriously, its ammusing me right now and a few other ppl

lol

Whats ammusing to you John???

No ones laughing at me... Cept you...

Enough about this topic... YUou burnt the bridge buddy, im a caring sharing guy but you choose that path...

hello Isaac...

Im hard at work atm watching jackass marathon on MTV...

soo working hard then :P

let me know if more parts come available as i may just be interested.... what about your cooler piping?

So yeah Shane

Im hoping that everthing hold together...

I have to put the front half of the motor back together today and reset the timing and so forth...

Had to replace the bearings in the CAS cause they were shagged and causing thr PFC to read a very high knock level...

Nays dad had to make up a custom CAS pressing jig to press out the bearings, took 4 hours to replace the bearings...

Better than paying $450 exchange for a re-conditioned one... Its not often this occurs aparentlly and was the first time I have heard of CAS bearings flogging out... Weird...

Yeah turbo is on and mounted with many modifications to the exhaust manifold which was surposed to be bolt on...

Also have to machine a wedge to tip the turbo over a bit further to clear the rocker covers... All speed flow fittings are done and the turbo have oil and water and an oil drain...

So its off to Jack B at redcliffe tomorrow for the dump pipes to be done... Then onto Richard @ ARE to do all the alum piping from turbo to the intercooler and fromt he intercooler to the plenium...

So maby 2 weeks from now she can hit the dyno for her 300 tune... :P

awesomeness

i've stopped workin on my car, got andy's car to fix :P. but i've been thinkin, and i mite get the head ported, and install some cams, springs & gears. oh and i've decided the N1's arent going to be big enough, GT-RS's it is!

nahh, just more to it then what has been said on the public side of the forum.

long story!

Well you can tell "your" side of the story via PM

Back to whoring now...

what about your cooler piping?

They wont be much let to be honest... Most is being reused i think, but what ever is left over your more than welcome too... Ill let you know...

Go a big single... Much easier...

See it...

i would, but i dont want the hassle from the coppers. if i can get the power i want from low mounts (which i can), than i dont want to go a big single. plus i've got $700 worth of speedlfow fittings for the twins

    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
