Im sitting here reading the HPI with your car in it.

The guy looks pretty young. WTF does he do?

His family has a pretty successful business in the construction industry. He manages one of the divisions. Works pretty hard - when i was organizing stuff to buy the car i was calling him at 7, 8pm at night and he was still at the factory. I think you were the one that put up pics of the GT3 he bought? So yea, he has dosh.

Yeh i posted them up. For some reason I thought he might have been like 40 lol.

- Finish fuel system (~few weeks)

- tune for 18psi and 24psi (the week after fuel system is complete) (~600awhp @ 24psi on BP98)

- Suspension upgrade (Sway bars, control arms, etc.) (Hopefully before Dan goes on holidays, else after he gets back).

- Surge port turbo around the same time.

- 6boost exhaust manifold (est. mid '09 or when current one develops cracks)

- OS Geiken gearset & input shaft if gearbox plays up

Somewhere in there I also need to get a good seat and 4 point harness.

*giggles*

I don't have the time to watch TV

yet u have time to whore online?

all that and it'll still be slow (and a 33) :(

hey dan how did you end up going with that exhaust ? Hope it all worked out !

Yeah, got as far as the cat which is where I hope to get to. Ran out of gas so I'll buy some more tomorrow while I'm at work

so..... who broke sauqld?

Good question. My site is also down so its the hosting server that is at fault I would imagine.

How'd the suspension work out for ya?

I'm doing invoicing and tax stuff at the same time.

And his slow 33 will still be faster and better looking than your even on it's worst day.

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
