Just to clarify, different times of day can present better or worse cooks. The Norman for LUNCH on any weekday is my no.1 pick.

1. Norman (lunch - weekday)

2. Morrison (Dinner)

3. Pineapple (maybe 4th)

4. Bunta's BBQ (should be 3rd)

5. Regatta (Wagyu only. )

Now remember you said Brisbane. Spotted Cow kicks all their asses!!!

Id be confident in these are 5 of the best places in Brisbane to get a steak, but in no particular order and im sure there are othrs just as good.

But here is my 5;

1. Breakfast Creek Hotel

2. Marriot Brisbane City (Eagle st)

3. The Norman

4. Warner Tavern

5. Hilton Brisbane (next to the embassy)

Out side of Brisbane but still in QLD (need 7 spots as they are all top notch)

1. Fibbers in Toowoomba

2. Spotted Cow in Toowoomba

3. Wide Bay Tavern in Hervey Bay

4. Royal Pines Resort on the Gold coast (The dinning room on the 21st floor, dress code applies)

5. Kawana Tavern, Nicol Way Kawana (lunch steaks to die for)

6. The Villa Hotel in Noosa

7. Villa Remano in Cairns (Reef and Beef is meaningless until you have eaten here)

country towns are always good for steak - just gotta get the right person to cook it

had a 400gm rump my first night out at dysart ordered it medium rare - it was definately medium to medium well but could tell it was good quality so i had it again the next night orderd it rare and it was what i would call medium rare and was lovely

    • Ha ha ha, that's fair mate! We have the crackhead dogs now. Mainly because the missus wants the crazy dogs while she still has the energy and capacity to be able to keep up with them! Ha ha our current two are both Working GSD, there brothers and sisters (from the same litters) are in Police, Corrective Services, and I believe one did end up in defence force too. They're wild and fun, yet right now, both curled up asleep on the lounge room floor while we watch some TV. Mal is very likely the next dog (unless I get my couch potato guardian dog 😛 )   What are your Kitties names? Are you planning some house work, like those high kitty shelves, built in scratching post, and some cat passages from one room to another room?
    • Maine Coone, did look at but to big and fluffy As for performance dogs, we had Mals at work, performance dogs are fun to watch, but, way to much work for this old rooster
    • Yep, it was only an option on the Q50 Hybrid.  Same in Japan as far as I know. And doesn't use a centre diff like the Suby's do, so not the same as the WRX.  But it also isn't a reactive AWD like other Nissan AWD vehicles are, eg. Murano/Xtrail/etc.
    • You should have got a Maine Coone then. Only thing is they're big. But so cool, and just like a dog. Or, just get yourself a high performance dog. That'll teach you for wanting Parkour indoors 😛
    • Are you thinking of Bens R32? I don't remember if his went through the bonnet itself, but it went through the chassis rail. Brad (RISKIN) bought it, and turned it into a track car. It's funny how anti people are of Jim Berry now. I remember when I pulled mine out (during an engine change) and inspected it and found it cracking badly. At that point in time so many people were even on SAU, were so pro Jim Berry, and that was after Bens GTR exploded his quite publically.
