I just bought this setup on the proviso that it fits an r33/rb25det, it does not. The engine mounts fouls the turbo plus the ABS unit when used with the rb20 manifold. It does fit an r32/rb20det though. It is not impossible to get into an r33, just easier for a 32.

I need a turbo as my T28 is blowing smoke at high revs. That is the reason I bought this and the reason I need to sell this kit.

What you get:

* The Turbo: Japan spec. HKS prepped Garrett GT35 Pro, runs ball bearings, must have external wastegate, 0.5 A/R, power range is ~200kW up to ~380kW. I have a spec. sheet for it inc. turbine maps (pressure ratio, corrected air flow). I would recommend a BOV that can handle 1 bar. I would also recommend stuff like a FMIC, ECU + EBC. Forged internals would be good if you want go to 2 bar. Checked by Garrett here, it is in v.good condition.

* The manifold: cast HKS 6 into 3 unit with ext. wastegate port

* The wastegate: HKS unit with spring tension in the 0.8 bar and up class, comes with screamer pipe. From the looks of it, it'll be damn loud.

* The 3" dump: all the way to your cat included

I'm in the Epping area, I work in Silverwater. I would imagine a visual inspection would confirm the above description.

Please do not PM me, email me instead at [email protected] or call. You know the rough price on this, you also know what it is worth. Looking for $2,200.

Thanks,

can i vouch for this.. Tony is a *****, and was scared to shave less than ~5mm off the metal which surrounds the engine mount rubber. it requires very little work to fit a R33. But i have a small idea Tony doesnt want to write off his car as he can barely handle 180rwkw....muaahhaahha jokes..

    • Sorry to hear your HFM BM57 was faulty,  did you contact HFM I would hope they would be at least grateful for the information if there was some sort of manufacturing fault, you would hope they would be sympathetic even if your item was 2 years old if it had never been fitted. May I ask where it leaked from ?
    • Cats are called Bella, and Donna...  Like that poisonous plant And I remember your 2 monsters, I remember making a little bit of wee when you let them out... LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
    • Not to mention they drive like a bucket of bolts! yuck!
