omg. someone make nark prime minister.

as for the video of zambrotta's supposed handball....and it being deliberate...LOL

first off, it doesnt really look like it hit his arm. comes off his chest/stomach, and deflects forward.

secondly. did you not see the australian in front of him attempting the scissor? so when he missed, zambrotta has about .01 of a second to see the ball coming at him

third, he must have eyes in the back of his head as well to know that if he put his arm there, it would directly impede the path to viduka's foot. lets face it, if it did make it to vidukas foot he probably would have messed it up anyway :D

he looks to be VERY close to an offside position as well...i wont comment for sure because of the poor camera angle

and implying that he deliberately handballed it to stop it getting to viduka....i wont even comment on that :D

Have a look at the video a few more times. My opinon

- It did hit his hand, if it didn't the ball would of deflected of the side of his thigh, and continued behind him.

- It hit his arm/hand after hitting his thigh, which caused the ball to drop to his feet...

- Why were his hands there in the first place? even tho the scissor was attempted in front of him, he still knew where the ball was coming from and where it was going, hence why he put himself correctly between viduka and the ball. He knew if no one interfeared with the ball it was coming exactly where it did, why? because he's a professional, thats his job to predect these things. Whenever i take a ball like that i never have my hands by my side like that, you don't do it for hte risk, unless you actually want them there for a reason (to give you more width).

regardless it wasn't as clear cut as i first thought, so i can forgive the ref not giving that one, why? because there was doubt.... just like the 'dive'... there must of been doubt there too, but he gave that.

I hope ukraine get a penalty tonight with 8 seconds to go for diving in the penalty box with the score 0-0.... I don't think Ukraine will have as many supporters in australia as they will tonight... and for good reason :P

maybe, to the ref, who makes the call, there wasn't any doubt. like i said, he sees it in real time, and doesn't have a .gif file replaying over and over.

FORZA AZZURI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

who watched the game?

if you told someone the score it wouldn't do the win any justice....90 seconds to go in the second half of extra time....pirlo with the through ball to grosso, who wraps it around the keeper perfectly!

a minute later italy break on the counter attack, and fantastic awareness by gillardino to tap it back for del piero, to stride in and finish it off beyond all doubt!

I almost went through the roof when Grosso scored....and I think my neighbours got an earlier wake up than they'd have liked.

del piero is god. that is all.

why didnt they put him on b4 iaquinta? totti shits me 2 and im italian lol

i watched the whole game except for 2nd half ET

i get in the car 2 goto work and i hear GGGOOOAALLL on the radio

that sux lol i just missed it

Grosso looks like a duck.

so? what a farking goal >_<

Iaquinta was fantastic. played EXTREMELY well. he's an attacker, but played some defense as well as thats what was neccessary...and he both attacked and defended fantasticly.

gillardino almost scored straight away, and zambrotta moments later....o much for italy playing defense...even after grosso scored, they didnt all run back and crowd the defense.

    • Let's be honest, most of the people designing parts like the above, aren't engineers. Sometimes they come from disciplines that gives them more qualitative feel for design than quantitive, however, plenty of them have just picked up a license to Fusion and started making things. And that's the honest part about the majority of these guys making parts like that, they don't have huge R&D teams and heaps of time or experience working out the numbers on it. Shit, most smaller teams that do have real engineers still roll with "yeah, it should be okay, and does the job, let's make them and just see"...   The smaller guys like KiwiCNC, aren't the likes of Bosch etc with proper engineering procedures, and oversights, and sign off. As such, it's why they can produce a product to market a lot quicker, but it always comes back to, question it all.   I'm still not a fan of that bolt on piece. Why not just machine it all in one go? With the right design it's possible. The only reason I can see is if they want different heights/length for the tie rod to bolt to. And if they have the cncs themselves, they can easily offer that exact feature, and just machine it all in one go.
    • The roof is wrapped
    • This is how I last did this when I had a master cylinder fail and introduce air. Bleed before first stage, go oh shit through first stage, bleed at end of first stage, go oh shit through second stage, bleed at end of second stage, go oh shit through third stage, bleed at end of third stage, go oh shit through fourth stage, bleed at lunch, go oh shit through fifth stage, bleed at end of fifth stage, go oh shit through sixth stage....you get the idea. It did come good in the end. My Topdon scan tool can bleed the HY51 and V37, but it doesn't have a consult connector and I don't have an R34 to check that on. I think finding a tool in an Australian workshop other than Nissan that can bleed an R34 will be like rocking horse poo. No way will a generic ODB tool do it.
    • Hmm. Perhaps not the same engineers. The OE Nissan engineers did not forsee a future with spacers pushing the tie rod force application further away from the steering arm and creating that torque. The failures are happening since the advent of those things, and some 30 years after they designed the uprights. So latent casting deficiencies, 30+ yrs of wear and tear, + unexpected usage could quite easily = unforeseen failure. Meanwhile, the engineers who are designing the billet CNC or fabricated uprights are also designing, for the same parts makers, the correction tie rod ends. And they are designing and building these with motorsport (or, at the very least, the meth addled antics of drifters) in mind. So I would hope (in fact, I would expect) that their design work included the offset of that steering force. Doesn't mean that it is not totally valid to ask the question of them, before committing $$.
    • The downside of this is when you try to track the car, as soon as you hit ABS you get introduced to a unbled system. I want to avoid this. I do not want to bleed/flush/jack up the car twice just to bleed the f**kin car.
