Joe you joined over two years ago dude - you should know to start with a search.

And it's hydraulic not hydrolic :(

Power steering reservoir = power steering fluid

Boot reservoir = ATTESSA reservoir = ATF

unrelated fluids.

The others you'll have to check for yourself dude

thanks for that, next time ill remember how to spell, didnt realise that this was a spelling contest!!

and if you didn't want answer the question, why waste your time talking crap about being a member for 2 years, i see it like this, if some can help out they will because they are genuine and want to help.. people who have nothing better to do that pick on spelling errors can shove their opinions where it fits!

But thanks to all the decent guyz out there who offer advice when asked.

Regards

This one gets asked at least once each month. Surely you can remember seeing a similar question / answer in the past 4 weeks?

And this one has been asked very recently

As does this one.

[rant]It's not that it's a spelling contest, it's just that some of us actually learned, and remember, how to spell - and we don't have time to sit around for half an hour trying to decipher some crappy word that the writer has been too lazy to look up in a dictionary when they aren't certain of the spelling. Or to sit around for an hour to decipher some crappy sentence when the writer has no idea how to contrstruct a sentence or use punctuation.[/rant]

Mate I apologise for offending you. The ability to accept constructive criticism is what differentiates the ignorant from the wise. Regardless, I am sorry I pointed out your error.

and if you didn't want answer the question, why waste your time talking crap about being a member for 2 years, i see it like this, if some can help out they will because they are genuine and want to help..

I'm a mod in this section, so I genuinely want to help. You'll note that I was actually helping you out mate and providing some information for you. I learned exactly the same way.

I mentioned you being a member for the last two years as that leads other members to make assumptions, such as expecting you'd know how to <Search>. Just the same as you expect a 15yr old to cross the road by themself or a 8yr old to tie their own shoelaces.

If you feel I was talking crap, fair enough, we all have opinions. :D

people who have nothing better to do that pick on spelling errors can shove their opinions where it fits!

I'm going to try very hard to keep this polite mate, but your comment is inflammatory. Please note that had you moved past the molehill you made into a mountain, you'd see that I was clarifying which reservoir relates to which fluid, and saving you from the expensive exercise of either putting ATF in your power steering reservoir or pouring power steering fluid into your 4WD system.

Now that's all out the way...

The reasons a search is the preferred place to start is:

1. It doesn't waste bandwidth with a duplicate thread.

2. It doesn't waste members' time with a duplicate thread.

3. It doesn't waste your time waiting for an answer that you could have found almost immediately.

If nothing else mate, point 3 should be the best reason to start with a search.

If you'd like to talk more on the subject of helping you out in future, please shoot over a PM.

Cheers Joe,

Mark

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
