Z32 Afm, Same As Z31?

Just wondering if the Z32 AFM is the same as the Z31. I will be upgrading the AFM on my R33 GTST soon, and a mate has a Z31 AFM at work for cheap.

If the Z31 would fit, I could get it for like $50. I know that my mate can get them from Z32, but they are a little more uncommon, he said they have heaps of Z31 AFMs in stock. He said $150 for a Z32 if he can get hold of one, so I told him to keep an eye out, I don't need one straight away.

z32 isnt uncommon. even the q45's are common as these days

I realise that the Z32 isn't hard to find. Hell, even my mum has one (...no, really, she does). My mate said that he doesn't get Z32's as often, and had a few Z31's sitting on the shelf. I was just asking because this one was cheap. Even $150 for a Z32 one seems ok.

I thought z31's were RB20 motors not VG??

Yeah, I wasn't too sure about it either, as far as I know, the Z31 300ZX had a single turbo VG30, but I could be wrong. My mate said the AFM he had was from a 1985 VG30 Z31 300ZX.
