we've got the original as the company track car... built by kakimoto (not the copy by skyline imports)... the kit's meant for a GTSt, but can be adapted onto a GTR.

The original uses rear castor to make the wheelbase of the car longer than standard (for race use). The copy was remoulded so the wheels could sit in the factory position without rubbing on the kit.

You'll need 10.5" wide rims for the front and 13" wide for the rears to fill out the guards.

Expect to pay about 5k for having the kit fitted, as if you want to have it done properly you'll need to modify the body so the wheels don't rub, and have the inner guard cut etc. Also blending the rear fender skins into the body requires you to take the original body back to metal, and bonding the fibreglass to it, or risk having it crack in the heat with age.

here's ours...

To my knowledge none of the skyline imports built ones have the Kakimoto wing (which everyone thinks is rice, until you actually sit in the car and realise that you can't see the wing through the back, and is fully adjustable carbon). There's also a carbon splitter for the front, which we've removed because it seems to collect everything on the ground. Also Kakimoto seems to refuse to sell the widebody sized rims to the public, unless you actually have the kit fitted by them.

There still trying to off load that kit eh. Funny what happen's when you ring Mr kakimoto him self, and he makes legal threats to dodgy people about having his kit knocked off.

Nice kit how ever, if you buy it make sure you don’t go cheap on the wheels, it’s what make the kit look complete.

355.... OMG Ubbbbberrrrrr rubber...

I wonder and shudder as to the cost of name brand tyres... :)

We run Pirelli P-Zero's. $800 a pop

AFAIK there's R32 and R33 kaki widebody kits, but not R34 from memory.

    • I used to have Walbro 255's when they were a pretty common update. (or were they 044? 040?) In any case I had a dirty tank. I thought the tank was good, but I would find the filter would clog in maybe ~50km of driving. If the issue persists, well, your fuel system or tank has crap in it that the pump is sucking up.
    • Hi. Ok thanks for the info. I/we do not know what tune is on that Nistune ECU so it is why there is stock ECU and that Nistune is for later when the car is done. I have guy who tunes Nistune and other ECU so i will then take it to him to see and properly tune for the car   And for the update. On 99,9% it is bad fuel pump. Which is wierd cuz it is like 2 years old(brand new walbro 255) and that filter (also brand new) was dirty.  I was alwaya pumped premium(100) on very good petrol station so i dont know how is that possible...
    • Dear folks My family members have 4 different cars : Triton 2015 and Corolla 2011 and Mazda3 2012 and Hyundai Elantra 2014 Looking to buy engine oil funnel spill free What I found are are below  https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0BBTTJNKX?ref=ppx_pt2_mob_b_prod_image&th=1 https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/145553221359?srsltid=AfmBOoqYBU6Ptw0LU_bAp_k67U3qkF97HHvePkA7iHZw8vUmiwoIRaRr https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09X23TCS5?th=1 Is there a funnel with attachment that fits most cars ? Don't mind to spend for a decent quality  Thx
    • Stock ECU (or more accurately stock tune) absolutely refuses to go over 10psi and behaves like you have seen. The Nistune is the same if it is the stock tune. If the Nistune chip has been tuned, the resulting tune could be literally anything for any combination of parts. The Nistune just makes the stock ECU Tunable.
    • So stock ECU does not like anything above 10 psi?  That Nistune one is just for "try" if it will be any different, I know it need to be tune for that. I know but YOU may know about these problem but i/we dont. They few little Skylines here let alone people who know anything about tham so that is why iam asking here
