what unit was in there? if it was an aftermarket one hten the OEM plugs are still there. unclip and remove EVERYTHING that does not relate to the car. from there reuse the OEM patch plugs for your new one. solder and shrink the new stereo plug the the patch leads. done.

if you need accessories let me know.

Nah you can buy a plug that plugs onto your factory Nissan adaptor with wires coming out of it. Solder these wires to the wires that came with your JVC plug. No butchering of your vehicles wiring that way

Pretty much any place stocking Aerpro stuff. I'd say autobarn would have them It's listed something along the lines of, "to suit nissan's between 1988 to xxxx"

Ask Chris Rogers for some more detailed info :P

Haha, I loved when I saw the first pic. Soldering and heat shrink is the best way to go. At least it has an inline fuse :P

Soldering + heatshrink is far cheaper than a set of crimpers, male crimp plugs and female crimp plugs. That's for sure.

Just called Autobarn and JB. Neither stock the adapter :(

Might try and use the harness already there and solder those wires instead.

Ahh my bad! should've looked at the pics more closely above. Yeah do that!

most likely thats what i'll be doing :)

yep remove all the crap and reuse that one. easier. though if you want to spend money I sell them.

Jesus that wiring in your first post was very messy! Have they heard of cable ties? Obviously not.

Nice work on the HU. Did you tidy up the wires?

I hate messy wiring, esp ones where you have no idea where they goto!
