I'm looking to buy a bodykit for my R33 GTS-T in as soon as I get my car back from the workshop, I've been thinking to go for the Veilside Bodykit just wanted people's opinion on them, and if so, what other bodykits you would suggest?

Thanks for your responses :)

I've just been looking around at local bodykit shops in Brisbane, I get mixed opinion on most bodykits.

I was on the lines of getting a Veilside kit, but I was unsure thats why I posted this.

Mmm..choices, choices ..lol

The veilside front bar looks terrible I reckon, the rest isn't bad.

If you want a nice kit, go the trial one.

Anyone know what sorta rims they are in the veilside pic?

Probably Veilside rims. Which sort I don't know though

Yeah I think the veilside bodykit doesnt suit the skyline at all... well for my taste that is. They suit more sleeker body cars such as the supra. On a skyline they look more over the top.

I have a question, the 400R bodykit is exactly the same as the Nismo GTR Vspec bodykit... why dont they just call it Nismo bodykit?

Or is there with Nismo who copy their bodykits?

I think someones confused you mate...

The 'Nismo GTR Vspec' kit or whatever you called it *is* the 400R kit. The trouble with all the low-quality fiberglass copies being made by companies in Australia is that they all have their own pet names for the kit they produce, even if one kit is a copy of another kit that was copied off the original 400R kit...

After having a think about it, and having a look at a few photos, I won't be going the Veilside option.

Just hard to pick what one to get - lol looking around at photos on DMD and JetSpeed (Brisbane stores) if anyone has any links to bodykit shops that'd be great  Thanks!

    • @GTSBoy This method was able to get readings of -10 to -2, so it looks like its monitoring.  Now I need to figure out why the vacuum on the line provided isn't alternating with manifold pressure.  I went with 2 lines that an RB25 tuner recommended but I'll get a longer hose and try directly off the back of the manifold.  He may have been used to OEM intake setups while I have a DBW setup that removed the MAF and IACV.
    • I work at a car detailing and tinting shop called Quark which gets all manner of German cars in usually (mainly due to a contract with Mercedes Benz Kita Osaka, BMW Nishinomiya and others) but every once in a while something special comes in, like a fully restored 1972 HS30 Nissan Fairlady 240ZG... The shop owner had immediately started applying film to the windows as soon as it was in the shop so the interior was completely covered in towels and plastic sheets. But I could get a few photos of the engine bay which was restored like new. Such an amazing car to see in pristine condition in Japan these days.
    • Was going to say the car pulls up nicely everywhere, especially going into that last long right hander before the main straight. Looks like a lot of fun.
    • Hey Dave, welcome aboard! Good to see another soon-to-be Stagea owner here. The wagons are awesome — plenty of space, still got that Skyline DNA, and loads of potential if you’re into mods. Definitely post up pics when you get it, everyone here loves seeing new builds. What model/year are you looking at?
