Year: Late 1997

Colour: Sonic Silver

Location: Central QLD - will ship internetstate at buyers cost.

I imported the car earlier this year and sadly due to a change in circustances I have to let it go. The car was imported in 100% stock form. Since arriving it has been serviced twice using Motul 300V oils and has had the timing belt changed (HKS Belt). It has full series 3 options such as red stiching on the seats, xenon headlights etc.

The car has only been registered in Australia since last month, and I have done the following modifications - all can be retuned to 100% stock :D

HKS Type 1 Turbo Timer

HKS Oil Filler Cap

HKS Hybrid Panel Filter

3 way immobliser Thatcham approved Alarm

There are also a set of Black 18" Nismo LM GT4 II (centre cap ones) coming from Japan atm. I can either sell the car with the wheels or sell seperate.

Number plates can also be sold to at an arranged price if wanted - PM me if interested.

I'm after

$41,500 with the wheels and number plates

$39,500 with the wheels (thats $4200 worth of wheels for $1500)

$38,000 without wheels and plates.

pics as below, will get interior pics over the weekend hopefully.

The GTR market is a very precious one, it takes time to get the right buyer, as most buyers are mature aged professionals. Good luck with the sale, i'm sure you'll get the right buyer, just need to be patient.

Nice Car mate.. If rossboss cant get 34g for his tough '95 model how can you expect 38g for your stock '97.

Quite easily , Mines a series 3, try importing a Series 3 in this condtion and see how much it costs :D Then compare the cost of importing a series 1 in this condtion (if you can find one).

Its pretty simple if you like rossboss's car better buy it, now one's making you buy my car, if your going to buy one at all and your just dreaming, stop wasting peoples time, its that simple :)

All I want to know what is the difference between a series 3 and series 1, Does the red stiching on the seats and head lights make them worth more. Simple question no need to be rude.

dude I just read your first post and was offended by it, and i'm not selling the car -

think before you type next time. Maybe refrain from whoring threads when you

have no intention of actually purchasing.

Series 3's were the last production run of the BCNR33 - they are the youngest, the

cleanest - and the model which fetches the highest price in Japanese auctions.

I know this because I searched for 4 months this year for a Vspec in this same series, and in

this same colour - they are NOT easy find in this colour & this condition.

Your cooking model series 1 95 does not come with the interior these do.

More than likely you only got one drivers side airbag (as compared to twin in the series 3) unless it

was optioned, and the steering wheel looks pretty average.

Series 3 also comes with Xenon headlights that just about every 33 GT-R owner want to upgrade to

if they have a series 1 or 2.

I know how much Ookami has spent importing this, and I know how much I spent importing

mine.... I am horrified he's already advertising it for less than $40k!

The car is genuine, and the price is a bargain IMO.

Sorry to see it have to go Ookami. I suggest you go and take another loan or

second mortgage so you can keep her :)

So you think a 95 model series I is worth the same as a 97 mod series III ? You are a very spark i must say.

Completely irrelevant to this thread.

A cheap car on ebay being sold by someone desperate for cash is hardly an indicator of what this car is worth.

The price being asked by ookami is right on the mark, and this is an outstanding example of an R33 GTR

Car is no longer for sale, I'm sick of all the time wasters and Bean Pullers out there. No one was forcing you to buy my car, if you didn't like the price buy a cheaper one and get a rude shock when stuff goes to pieces.

    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...

    • It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about. Reliability of everything in a 34 drops MASSIVELY above the 300kw mark. Keeping everything going great at beyond that value will cost ten times the $. Clutches become shit, gearboxes (and engines/bottom ends) become consumable, traction becomes crap. The good news is looking legalish/actually being legal is slighly under the 300kw mark. I would make the assumption you want to ditch the stock plenum too and want to go a front facing unit of some description due to the cross flow. Do the bends on a return flow hurt? Not really. A couple of bends do make a difference but not nearly as much in a forced induction situation. Add 1psi of boost to overcome it. Nobody has ever gone and done a track session monitoring IAT then done a different session on a different intercooler and monitored IAT to see the difference here. All of the benefits here are likely in the "My engine is a forged consumable that I drive once a year because it needs a rebuild every year which takes 9 months of the year to complete" territory. It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about with this car.
    • By "reverse flow", do you mean "return flow"? Being the IC having a return pipe back behind the bumper reo, or similar? If so... I am currently making ~250 rwkW on a Neo at ~17-18 psi. With a return flow. There's nothing to indicate that it is costing me a lot of power at this level, and I would be surprised if I could not push it harder. True, I have not measured pressure drop across it or IAT changes, but the car does not seem upset about it in any way. I won't be bothering to look into it unless it starts giving trouble or doesn't respond to boost increases when I next put it on the dyno. FWIW, it was tuned with the boost controller off, so achieving ~15-16 psi on the wastegate spring alone, and it is noticeably quicker with the boost controller on and yielding a couple of extra pounds. Hence why I think it is doing OK. So, no, I would not arbitrarily say that return flows are restrictive. Yes, they are certainly restrictive if you're aiming for higher power levels. But I also think that the happy place for a street car is <300 rwkW anyway, so I'm not going to be aiming for power levels that would require me to change the inlet pipework. My car looks very stock, even though everything is different. The turbo and inlet pipes all look stock and run in the stock locations, The airbox looks stock (apart from the inlet being opened up). The turbo looks stock, because it's in the stock location, is the stock housings and can't really be seen anyway. It makes enough power to be good to drive, but won't raise eyebrows if I ever f**k up enough for the cops to lift the bonnet.
