Mate I can see you are furious about this however please edit your post and take the c-bomb out of it. That kind of language really gets up my nose.

Cheers. I hope eBay is working with you to recover your money, it is a lot to lose.

yeh call up or email ebay, and find a resolution. If he is a scammer, most likely that isnt he's real name or address, could be living anywhere, probably not even in this country.

anyway keep it cool dude, hope u get ur money back..and also thanx for posting, so atleast the rest of us know not to deal with that..

Mate I remember this guy on ebay.

Last time I checked he closed his ebay shop.

And for some funny reason they opened up a whole new website.

www.jap.com.au

These guys are the same guys from ebay.

I bought a R33 JUN bodykit and I got my money back because they didn't fit.

I have heard from before somewhere that lots of their bodykits don't fit.

Your lucky you didn't even get that rx7 BN style bodykit, because they wouldn't have fit. I can provide pictures that a customer bought these and they were too short.

hi guys, i just thought u would like to know. this guy is a scammer. but there is a way to beat him. just turn up at his place. his address is correct as above. in chermside in brissy. there will be an orange skyline out the back with a black bonnet. all you do is say you want your cash back. or you will start stripping parts off the skyling till you get your moneys worth. it worked for me. oh and proly usefull if you take some friends. thats helped me i think. but he is at that address.

good luck guys.

SAU can do without these sorts of stupid comments.

Warning issued.

Back on the thread, report this to the authorities and ebay asap and let them do their job.

SAU does not condone and will not tolerate suggestions of 'getting even' and the next person that makes comments to that effect will be issued with a warning.

I also wanted to warn people that this site:

www.jap.com.au

Are the same group.

But these guys are located in NSW.

I am pretty sure that you have dealt with the Brisbane guy Tyson on ebay.

Please be aware "You get what you pay for."

I say this is because I have fallen for this "bargain buy" that has caused me nothing but a waste of time.

Its happening more & more on ebay lately.....

I used to buy a lot of stuff over ebay and for years didnt have any trouble, but not anymore (mainly due to $$ constraints) as Ive lost trust due to some scammers on ebay.

Having "trouble" getting my VG30 highflowed turbo which I bought off ebay a few weeks ago.

Good 'ole "Grey Pages" helped provide some contact details........ but still you shouldnt have to resort to "extravagant" means in order to get the product thats rightfully yours / or money back.

Good luck with getting back the ca$h.

Brendan

jap.com.au advertises in autosalon, i dont think they would have the bottle to rip ppl of if theyre advertising in a pretty mainstream magazine would they ??

well i dont know, if youve had bad experiences i guess youd al know.

Any respectable eBay trader wont do deals outside of eBay - and any ebay buyer wouldnt be so stupid as to deal outside of ebay to save a few bucks. He could have made a custom auction for you which would have given you buyer protection.

Let this petty mistake only cost you $700 and not anymore.

JK

I bought a kit off him too....didnt get it didnt get the refund....ebay said they were gonna give me $200 bucks thats all for the problems....

if that is his address.....ill do the same offer to whoever can get the money back for me....$150 for whoever gets the money back for me...

The guy skipped town last night

He was selling a MR2 kit in the for sale section, username "drifter32"

A mate from my work bought it last night from the Chemside address.

This guy left last night to move interstate

Here is the thread with his number

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.

    • Yes, but, I paid cash and I'm pretty sure the receipt was in the bin 10 minutes after I got home Note to self, keep all receipts

    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
