Just wondering if you guys know if the stock 17" x 9" GTR wheels with 245/45/R17 will fit on a S14 200SX? My stocko wheels are the Nissan 16" alloys. They have 205/55/R16 rubber on them. Im pretty sure the offsets should be alrite, just wanna know if theyre too wide. Any help or links to this topic would be appreciated. Cheers, Paul

17x9 on my S14 needs to be +20 at the front to clear the coilovers.

On the rear 245/40R18x9+22 fit without any spacers

This is what an S14 (not mine) looks like with +30 offset, 25mm spacers all round. = +5 offset.

Only a fender roll is required to fit this. Tyres are 215/40 front, 215/45 rear.

Wheels are stock R33 GT-R wheels which are 17x9, the narrow tyres allow the nicer fitment

^^^ it's not that they will sit in, it's that they will hit the strut/spring, i have them on my s13, i have 3omm spacers all round, i could probably get away with no spacer on the rear but definatley needed on the front.

225 is about as wide as i can go with the spacers fitted, 215's may fit without the spacers... great looking wheels you should put a pic up.

They just bolted onto my old 200SX fitted with 235/45/17 with 2.5 degrees of camber.

I only had OEM style Nismo replacment struts and they cleared the shock body and spring seat fine.

Looked pretty understanded on white too.

Hey there,

I have a set i am selling with 245/45/17 tyres Hankook Ventus 104's 95% Tread.

Look in the parts section.........

They do look good on a s14 I have to admit.

Although i think they would look better with rolled or flared guards.

Cheers

frankxiyu pm'd me, but for everyone else - no spacers were fitted to mine, but they did rub the plastic inner guard a little, but nothing a stanley knife couldn't fix.

  • 2 weeks later...

just an update for the information,

the R33 GTR wheels which have 245 tyres went on the S14A today with NO spacers, and we did not roll the guards....stock suspension, which means once coilovers are done, even widers tyres can go on....

it is doable, and the car looks awesome....problem solved.

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
