Hey adam u didnt turn up, that was unexpected:)

Oh yeh did u guys get to the treasure;) if so what did u think?

Joe:hope u got a good shot :D PM me, id love to have it:D

Well youve gone for a new signature, but i think you should have just added to the old.

To my arch nemesis the P plater if youre in my way im gonna hit you, that goes double for you kerb.

Well, i dont think anyone would have been able to pull it off at that corner. Make sure you keep the vid, or send it to Gradenko so i can see it at his place during the week some time.

I had a fair bit of trouble keeping up with you lot, time for more boost, And my ticky lifter seems to have gotten louder...

Heya guys,

Was a nice cruise wasn't it! not too much rain and nice quiet long roads! To tell you the truth i think this map could be used again in future, as nice the scenary is of our city cruises the long roads are quite fun as was good to see what our cars could really do!

However maybe we could give "Supra corner" a miss next time :-)

By the way i was the guy in the red r33 (Yes also called Daniel, Man there is lots of us with skylines!)

I hope everything is ok Boostzor and it doesn't get to costly, it was good talking to ya for the brief time at omni maybe next time we will try for some skyline dorifto instead of supra :-)

By the way when you see the movie you will love Joes Commentary! Oh F**K, HE'S F**KIN F**KD it! ... nice one Joe!

I think the biggest sleeper of the night award goes to the red Pintara wagon! quite a quick wagon! good for carting the kids and the dog in at 180km/h down the freeway!

This once happened to me in my commonwhore....

quite annoying but there could be a fix.. take it to Ian diffen and they can plug up the hole, however it depends on the size of it, but yeah i got it done and no worries, cost $20 and saved $100.

Yes, yes, interesting night. Suprised no one has mentioned Rhinos new car. Is it still a secret, Rhino? Ah well, I'll give em a clue. Yes, its a Nissan and yes, its a tad quicker than the R31 :D

RB20LagWagon, that thing is insane! Sleeper award, for sure. Wonder what our run would have been like if had both got traction, instead of spinning through the first 2 gears like we did. Read in another thread that it ran a 13.8, thats a good job.

Well, the night was going good until Boostzor decied to let his lead foot out. I stayed back and gave him a lift after the tow. Cops came by to have a look see. Was the usual, "have you been drinking" type of questions, nothing about import cruises or dangerous driving.

Did you guys end up running the rest of the map and finishing at Carousel?

Guest Rhino

Meeeeoooowwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!

That bloody cat has got out of the bag I suppose :D.

It was bound to happen, very satisfying to be back in the loop after atleast 4 months.

I wanna see some pics of it now and I know Joe has footage of me almost launching over one of those expansion points in the Narrows. And the guys in the Red R33 have a pic of me grinning my face off as they were along side me on the Freeway.

A pity I was soo tired and had to get up early this morning or I would stuck around for longer. I heard from navigator Steve (in the blue S13 with the big truck cooler) that ppl didnt get home till after 6-7am!!!!

Pictures and vids Joe!!!!!.......please.

Hahahah, i dont think that map should be used again, well i dont think the bp on albany highway should be passed or anything, that area i have seen in the passed umm 3 months or less 2 accidents, 2 yellow sticker rapings and 1 supra loss its just got bad karma.

The drift silvia is all fixed up now, and a few of us cruised again sunday night. And again more cop raping ! :D

I just finished work at 6am and are going to get down to work on that damn exhaust leak, pity it wont scream anymore, well not as much at least.

Heya Macka,

I heard Joe (PVA_Glue) say something about an axle going bung? so in like flynn i was to get a quick happy snap... see if you can make it out??

I think the bent piec of tubular metal near the bottom of the pic isn't meant to be that bent......

I thought the skid marks before the kerb were more impressive than the drag marks after the kerb;)

Preliminary assesment looks like just a buckled rim and a bent control arm but u never know huh.

Well imglad i have my backup car ah the good ol 84 corrolla. At least i dont have the pwer to do anything reeely dumb in it.:uh-huh:

Ooooooohhh sounds exciting! i went a while ago but didn't run!

Now after owning my car for 6 months i realised that even though c-red had put new tyres on the back my wheels are sooo cambered that the tyres are nearly gone, i have just gone to Ian Diffens and get them swapped on the back but i don't have $550 for two no tyres at the moment so no start drags for me for a bit, am thinking of buying some 18's! the mags i have now i like but i don't want 17's I WANT 18's! so yeah i would like to go down but prob won't run! I do wanna run though as i now have 240RWHP! and would love to see what times i get if i manage to keep traction!

Hmmm a Sunday at the drags would be nice! what where ya thinking macka?

    • I got back to Japan in January and was keen to get back on track as quickly as possible. Europe is god-awful for track accessibility (by comparison), so I picked up a first-gen GT86 in December just to have something I could jump into right away. The Skyline came over in a container this time and landed in early January. It was a bit battered after Europe, though—I refused to do anything beyond essential upkeep while it was over there. The clutch master cylinder gave out, and so did the power steering. I didn’t even bother changing the oil; it was the same stuff that went in just before I left Japan the first time. Naughty. Power steering parts would’ve cost double with shipping and taxes, so knowing I’d be heading back to Japan, I just postponed it and powered through the arm workout. It took a solid three months to get the car back on the road. Registration was a nightmare this time around. There were a bunch of BS fees to navigate, and sourcing parts was a headache. I needed stock seats for shaken, mistakenly blew 34k JPY on some ENR34 seats—which, of course, didn’t fit—then ended up having the car’s technical sheet amended to register it as a two-seater with the Brides. Then there’s the GT86. Amazing car. Does everything I want it to do. Parts are cheap, easy to find, and I don’t care what anyone says—it’s super rewarding to drive. I’ve done a few basic mods: diff ratio, coilovers, discs, pads, seat, etc. It already had a new exhaust manifold and the 180kph limiter removed, so I assume it’s running some kind of map. I’ve just been thrashing it at the track non-stop—mostly Fuji Speedway now, since I need something with higher speed after all that autobahn time. The wheels on the R34 always pissed me off—too big, and it was a nightmare getting tires to fit properly under the arches. So I threw in the towel and bought something that fits better. Looks way cleaner too (at least to me)—less hotboy, less attention-seeking. Still an R34, though. Now for future plans. There are a few things still outstanding with the car. First up, the rear subframe needs an overhaul—that’s priority one. Next, I need to figure out an engine rebuild plan. No timeline yet, but I want to keep it economical—not cutting corners, just not throwing tens of thousands at a mechanic I can barely communicate with. And finally, paint. Plus a bit of tidying up here and there.
    • Nope, needed to clearance under the bar a little with a heat gun, a 1/2" extension as the "clearancer", and big hammer, I was aware of this from the onset, they fit a 2.0 with this intake no problems, but, the 2.5 is around 15mm taller than a 2.0, so "clearancing" was required  It "just" touched when test fitting, now, I have about 10mm of clearance  You cannot see where it was done, and so far, there's no contact when giving it the beans Happy days
    • It's been a while since I've updated this thread. The last year (and some) has been very hectic. In the second-half of 2024 I took the R34 on a trip through Germany, Italy, France and Switzerland - it was f*cking great. I got a little annoyed with the attention the car was getting around Europe and really didn't drive it that much. I could barely work on the car since I was living in an inner-city apartment (with underground parking). During the trip, the car lost power steering in France - split hose - and I ended up driving around 4,000kms with no power steering.  There were a few Nurburgring trips here and there, but in total the R34 amassed just shy of 7,000kms on European roads. Long story short, I broke up with the reason I was transferred to Europe for and requested to be moved back to Japan. The E90, loved it. It was a sunk cost of around EUR 10,000 and I sold it to a friend for EUR 1,500 just to get rid of it quickly. Trust me, moving countries f*cking sucks and I could not be bothered to be as methodical as I was the first time around.
    • I assume clearances were all a-okay?
    • Shock tower brace is in +5Kw....LOL
