Those designs above look really good! The red GTS one is alot better than the previous ones in this thread.

I dunno about the black GTS though, maybe if that S was in silver..

R3Load, the initial design is to be credited to DARKBOY, its his inital drawing. ;)

But you are right its better than previous designs, i changed the "S" to look a little more "authentic" when compared to the original "R".

The "T" will hopefully satisfy those GTT owners!!

I wanted a black for the the front grill of my car and a red for the rear.

The red will highlight the tail lights and the Black will suit the no mess look front i am creating.

SIK14 what do you think , can you do this??

DARKBOY can we use this combined design?

:D

I quite like what you've done with the S actually and I understand your reasons for adding the 'serifs' to it. I merely designed the S that way because it reflects the S from the Skyline logo.

Anyway well done!

;)

TY will do ...

Hey Ronin33 ummm this is a little off topic but where did you get your front bar put on it looks pretty good from your sig :)

Gday Chris ,

I have a couple of pics posted here if you'd like a closer look.

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...p;#entry2595685

I got it from Carmate in NSW.

http://www.carmate.com/old/

Item code: NSGTS97GTR2FB

I had it painted from a local paintshop and fitted it myself.

I mounted the indicators behind the mesh and it worked out pretty well i think.

Be aware, there are those who had bad experiances with them and those like myself who had no worries.

There is a thread around here somewhere. I tried to find it but but no good.

Have chat to the asian fella there if you go that far, the other fellas a wanker (IMO).

:P

Ok this is the story so far ...

1.It can be done.

2. The badges will be made of an aluminium backing plate and UV resistant resin cut to sise in our colours of choice (the cheapest way being if we all choose the same colours) and double sided tape.

3. I need someone who is good at drawing (or modeling) to do a detailed drawing for me to send to the company so that they can program the machines to do the work.(I'll have a go at it but I'm not the best.

4. They haven't given me a price yet but it looks as though its going to be fairly cheap because I can buy them through the business.

5. Once they are ready to be made I'll start a group buy. ;)

p.s. I'm doing this all by phone conversation and I'm having some difficulty so bear with me please ;)

Hey Chris, good to hear!

I think the designs posted by Ronin33 on the page before this one are really good and im sure they are the ones most people here would like to have.

Really hope we can get this underway :)

sweet, loox like this is underway, ive asked ever one ive seen for a gts badge. damn fools with gtr badges, maby we should buy some and place them on fake gtr's. hehe.. cant wait to see the end result of these, ima buy a couple for backup, incase they get stolen on the car :).. hey, i think a straight silver gts badge would like awesome, only if it could be stainless steal looking i guess.. like that greenish r33 in the fast 4s mag, if you all know it, i think some one in this topic had a pic as there signature.

Count me in on a GTS Badge too!! The billet looking one from Ignition DVD is by far the best option. Then if you want to personalise it its up to you...

    • Yeah i found that alot of parts can be wrong or "very" hard to get the real right one. I already bought some brakes years ago on me "old" GT calipers and they were wrong too 😄  I told them too. Even send them pictures...but they said "EBC catalogue has them on my car... So i dont know what their answer will be. I call monday them and let them know that they are really not on my car. If they were they would be already on a car...
    • Welcome to Skyline ownership. Yes, it is entirely possible parts websites get things wrong. There's a whole world of inaccuracies out there when it comes to R34 stuff (and probably 33 and 32). Lots of things that are 'just bolt on, entirely interchangable' aren't. Even between S1 and S2 R34's. Yes they have a GTT item supposedly being 296mm. This is incorrect. I would call whoever you got them from and return them and let them know the GTT actually uses 310mm rotors. Depending on where you got them from your experience and success will obviously vary.
    • Hi...a bit a "development" on the brakes. I spoke to the guys where i get brakes from...and they are saying that 296mm EBC are for R34 GT-T. I then went to their site: https://www.ebcbrakes.com/vehicle/uk-row/NISSAN/Skyline (R34)/ and search for my car(R34 GT 1998 - it has GTT brakes) and it show me this USR1229 number and they are rly 296mm rotors... So now iam rly confused... The rotors i have now on the car are 310mm asi shown... So where is the problem? Does the whole EBC got it wrong or my calipers are just...idk know what?
    • Oh What the hell, I used to get a "are you sure you want to reply, this thread is XX months old" message. Maybe a software update remove that. My bad.
    • This is a recipe for disaster* Note: Disaster is relative. The thing that often gets lost in threads like this is what is considered acceptable poke and compromise between what one person considers 'good' looks and what someone else does. The quoted specs would sit absurdly outside the guards with the spacers mentioned and need  REALLY thin tyres and a LOT of camber AND rolling the guards to fit. Some people love this. Some people consider this a ruined car. One thing is for certain though, rolling the guards is pretty much mandatory for any 'good' fitment (of either variety). It is often the difference between any fitment remotely close to the guards. "Not to mention the rears were like a mm from hitting the coilovers." I have a question though - This spec is VERY close to what I was planning to buy relative to the inboard suspension - I have an offset measuring tool on the way to confirm it. When you say "like a mm" do you mean literally 1mm? Or 2mm? Cause that's enough clearance for me in the rear :p I actually found the more limiting factor ISNT the coilover but the actual suspension arms. Did you take a look at how close those were?
