yea 201.3rwkw with a Manual trans.

the Drag racing thing is not as easy as it looks haha

i was launching at 3500rpm and dumping the clutch and then changing to 2nd as quick as possible to stop wheel spin.

Disregarding the time, the trap speed of 97mph (converted) means you don't have anything close to 200rwkw. With that kind of power you should be expecting at least 105mph, and probably closer to 110mph.

Then again your run wasn't done on a Dyno Dynamics but still, that dyno that was used seems pretty optimistic.

That 60 footer is pretty horrible.

Backing of a little instead of changing to second might be better. This is what i do, the RB just feels so much happier in the high revs.

With a pod, boost controller and cat back exhaust,

I managed a 13.6 with a 60 footer of 2.0....

14.78 is half a second slower then the official time for an r33 gts-t isnt it?!?!

Go back again with better tyres.

What tyre pressure do most of you use.

What Revs is a good level to launch at.

Whens the best time to change gears

What 60ft time would i need to get a low 14 or a high 13

and when you say backing off a bit wouldnt that hert my time even more.

from the look of your sig the rear of your car is too low... very hard with the IRS to get traction when it's that low, no room for squat or weight transfer

also are you running any kind of fuel controller? if you are running those mods off the stock ecu it will be way too rich, esp. with an aftermarket pump in there

    • Maybe also really stiffly sprung track cars. Get the inside wheel up in a corner and all the fun stops. Also me sometimes (rarely) when I have to stand on the brake to convince the diff to drive the wheel that is still on the ground when I'm trying to diagonally get over severe driveway entrance, etc.
    • I feel like I'm missing something. You had an authorised installer come out and install a new alarm. Post install the car doesn't start, and you aren't getting the installer back to fix what they did wrong?
    • So either way it is gearbox out and look what is wrong?  I know about the input shaft bearing. Even before swap/new clutch the it sounded exactly like this: So is that inout shaft bearing or the other was installed backwards?  And can some please tell me the part number for that input shaft bearing? The gearbox is small box from R34 N/A and number is FS5W71C. Thank you
    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
