Beer Baron
thanks for all the nice birthday wishes. may they return to you ten fold! well the birthday was not perfect. first mistake was I got up and went to work. I should have stayed in bed and put in a call to Jessica Alba, but for some reason felt compelled to go to my job Things will improve tonight with just a nice bottle of veuve, a fine cuban cigar and a nice dinner. plus I was hoping my new suspension would arrive today as a little prezzie to myself, but it looks like that will have to wait for tomorrow. and Jo, I was thinking you might be sending me a spare Z-tune in the mail, but I've rung the post office and no 10.5 cubic metre box was waiting there? what's up with that?!? perhaps it just got held up a bit? *prays to god it was held up... I don't have your address Richard, that must be what the hold up is. The Z-tune is coming back for a little visit soon, the owner said "Jo, I will lend you the Z-tune & you can have it for a week" How cool is that. So, end of November - 1st week in December be ready. Now, are you taking me out for that dinner for your birthday? Beer Baron
thanks shell and wil. had a nice day (apart from work). and finished off with dinner and ate some of my favourite things. started with shark fin soup (damn it was good), then some deep fried prawn balls, then peking duck (skin+pancakes, followed by san choy bow) and some deep fried icecream to finish. washed all that down with a bottle of vintage veuve cliquot, then a fine cuban cigar (a 'churchill'). all in all, a very nice day. Beer Baron
no, i like (and went to) Fook Yuen. good seafood but a bit pricey. their nice shark fin soup is $90 a bowl and their abalone is $$$. kam fook is not bad too, but a bit like eating in a school hall!
