Guest Billie Jean
I'm liking the Subaru RX. I just like the shape of them, but a bit of a family car??? I reckon I'm going the FTO. Watch out! Sura
Buy a Supra. Better looking and faster than FTO. Sturdy car and reliable. Also has sex appeal coming out from every angle. :D Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/13854-need-a-new-car/page/2/#findComment-275196 Share on other sites
Guest Billie Jean
yeah true, sex on wheels.... taking into consideration. short list: FTO supra Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/13854-need-a-new-car/page/2/#findComment-275206 Share on other sites
V-meister
Supras are sexy, especially with chicks driving them FTO would be good, it's a little more 'girly' than a Supra as it's less bulky. But hey, you can't beat a nice clean Supra with no wing (personal preference) Good Luck with the decision Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/13854-need-a-new-car/page/2/#findComment-275225 Share on other sites
Guest Billie Jean
Thanks for the help guys, I reckon I'm trading in and getting the FTO. What are the chances of it getting ripped or is that the dumbest question ever posed to man? rs73
Have you considered a supra as the shape itself is very sexy.... get the aero model, they're non turbo, has aero roof so got that extra pulling look being half a convertible... the engine also has good bottom end grunt that can easily kick non turbo skylines, and I believe they're lots faster n sexier than FTO... Also most aero I think comes in auto, dunno if you prefer manual or auto? Supra would also respond better to mods than an FTO. I heard the FTO's management was already good from the factory that it's very hard to gain more power by using aftermarket stuffs. There's more room for mods in non turbo Supra. If I had to choose a non turbo sexy wheels, I'd go for the supra. But they cost heap$ more than FTOs and Skylines. That can be a deterring factor. akira
From what I understand you are after a hot looking car with everything done, but dont want a Turbo and high insurance costs. You'd probably want something that wont cost you much in petrol or running costs. The answer to your question is quite simple...... find a partner with a hot car you wont have to worry about high insurance/ petrol costs. If you are after a FTO, or similar.......buy privately or through a import broker.....you will save heaps of money that way.Trading in your car through dealers isnt a good idea. they are in the business of making money, not helping you out. good luck Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/13854-need-a-new-car/page/2/#findComment-276254 Share on other sites
S4PLAY
Supra for sure.... absolute Sex on wheels other then the S2000. Go the Supra.... much more room for improvement over the FTO... and the FTO has a funny ass.... Guest Billie Jean
maybe I should go out with DR GTR. Thanks for your help guys, saw a tidy non turbo Supra today and fell in love. Now, any idea on what plates I should get??? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/13854-need-a-new-car/page/2/#findComment-277090 Share on other sites
Guest Billie Jean
you can pick up a no turbo Supra in relatively good condition for about 25 can't you? I heard it didn't have as much guts as an FTO though. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/13854-need-a-new-car/page/2/#findComment-277095 Share on other sites
V-meister
I think N/A Supras are pretty gutsy, I'd buy one over an FTO personally and I think they respond well to mods. The only thing is they are bulkier than an FTO but they are definitely sexier. Go the Supra! You gotta go without a wing though, looks yummy What colour are you looking at getting?
