jeez - glad u and your daughter are ok

if the cops have his numberplates, then he will def be spoken to.

I hope they feed his testicles to some pitbulls

(on second thoughts, no i feel sorry for the pitbulls)

glad you and ur lil girl are ok though

If that's the story that you told to police, then the outcome of this is going to be interesting.

1. idiot in VW half in left lane, half in medium strip spraying rocks whilst on phone doin 90 in 110 zone.

If he was spraying rocks at you, why didn't you just pass?

That would have avoided the whole situation.

Instead, you took the situation into your own hands with a child in the car?

I'm not suprised the guy didn't stop..... if some maniac came up next to me and started beeping and flipping me off for no apparent reason, I'd be wanting to get away from them...

I'm glad to hear you're both OK, but from your description of events, it sounds like you were the instigator.

You say you don't want people to "go hunt this prick", yet you've posted his rego details up?

1.Why dont you look at line 2 where is says he did pass him.......

2.Next time stop and think before you post in the future

Im glad you and your child are ok.

Its hard to tell what was inside that numbnuts head. For all you know he could of been on drugs (ice, crack, heroin, etc) Maybe he discovered he is gay... its not really relevant, what matters the most in this case is safety of you and your daughter. You could of done anything you liked if you were alone but with passengers, esp little kids, try and avoid, slow down or even stop... I know its easy to judge but it needed to be said.

Mate show some sympathy! Your becoming annoyingly old...

its quater 2 5 and im bored shitless.

thank f**k your okay and so is your daughter. your car sounds like its somewhat okay too, it could have been so much worse its no good even thinking about it.

i hate big ass 4wd's there blindspot/headcheck looks straight over most cars, especialy one with tinted windows and if (by the sound of it) he could clearly see you then he should go to jail. what a f**ken nut, was he old?

dont worry, what goes around comes around. he will flip his "unbreakable" car one day and then the shit will hit the fan

personally if i had my daughter in the car and i had a car in front of me half on the road and half on the meduim strip i would have simply just dropped back nand givien him plenty of distance .its just not worth the agravation of what the outcome could be .my kids life are worth more than a windscreen and a bloodrush of anger to the head .all of this could have been avoided by a bit of common sense and not inflaming the situiation by giving him the bird and trying to pull him over

glad you and the family are ok mate, i myself hate road rage incidents they get me fired up for hours!!

i dont think you should start abusing SKY031 though, i think his side of the argument is quite valid. If i had a daughter in the car i would not be flipping people off while flying past them on the freeway, regardless of how horrible they are driving. If your posting your business up on the forums you can always expect some disagreements.

be safe!

Mate, Im horrified to be reading this.

I offer you my condolences and best wishesto you, your daughter and your family.

I hope neither you nor your beautiful young'un have bad thoughts about this in the future, I hope she sleeps ok and isnt too disturbed by what happened. How is she?

Life these days is so dangerous, nutters everywhere. Hell, even my old man is a nutter when behind the wheel of his Nissan Patrol - I HATE these damn huge mofo 4wd's with a passion. For some reason drivers tend to become "god" behind the wheel of these monstrosities.

Some exciting news to start the day at the office...

Words from Satanic:

1) Glad nothing happened to you or your daughter

2) IF it happens again, just take down the rego and STOP - your daughter's life ain't that worthless that you need to risk it.

3) Be cool...

4) Have a nice Friday :)

What that guy did he'll get later on; never know he might offend some truckie on an interstate run - God be with him if that's the case

Glad you both ok mate storys like that make me so angry.

These coments remind me of the tread the other day about the bans on sports cars for yorng drivers. This is Proof modified sports cars can sometimes save lifes.

Man that must have been terrifying for your kid and infuriating to you. I too have had been subjected to the small penis-big luxo-4WD types, happily with different results. It is easy to say just ignore the nob jockey and claim the windscreen (i get a free one, lucky me) but when you are in the moment, the chemicals start to work and rational thought is overtaken by the fight or flight mechanism.

If someone pushed in front of you at a maccers you would say something and 9 times out of 10 the offender would back down and relinqusih his spot. However, when we are in our car we are insulated from the social pressure of others watching us be an asshole. So we end up with the small penis guy thinking he can get away with it and Ronin33 feeling he has to protect his family. Then the situation escalates and no one is happy. I'm sure Ronin33 would have wanted a different outcome but remember it takes alot to stay sane on the road these days and before anyone passes judgement they should look at what they have done in similar situations.....Personally, I prefer to go with tailing the SOB in my second car and buying some paint stripper, but thats me.

I HATE 4wds ALSO!!!

A while back now, i had some 4wd merge into my lane without looking and hit my side door.. Im like WTF.. Im slow down hes goes behind me. IM like he must be pulling over.. So i signaled with my hand to follow me, coz we were on the main rd, and there was a side street up ahead.

He follows me till i turn, and quickly drives off.. My mum was in the car screaming. coz i was seriously was gonna race after him.. But there was to much traffic as well to get back onto the main rd etc etc..

Mum saw a police station ahead and reported it. But since we didnt get his plates, there was nothing we could do.

BAstards in thre 4wd. Lucky i was in the camry that day also!! If it was the skyline.. OMg i dont know what i would have done.

So thats my rant..

Plus we had a huge bill to repair the door etc etc.. and everything else that was cracked inside..

But seriously people cant just become clam when they are in a situation like that. To those who mentioned if you would have just let it go, you could have avoided it. STUFF THAT!! He chipped his windscreen. Cost money.. I would have done the same..

Easy to say be calm...

if its minor things like someone cuttin you off. fair enough you can let it go. But not when someone damages your property!!

1.Why dont you look at line 2 where is says he did pass him.......

You mean the bit where he said:

"I go around on the horn and flip the bird."?

Yeah I read that bit.

The person in front had no way of knowing that they flicked up a rock.

All they saw was someone acting aggressively towards them for no apparent reason.

Hundreds of people have their windscreens cracked every day, most realise that it's just one of those things that happens when you're out on the road.

SKY031, story? who makes up that type of shit?

you self righteous SOB, i didnt slow and abuse him, Did i say that?

No, you didn't say a thing about slowing down, but neither did I.

You said that you overtook them and abused them.

i asked for no violence

So..... you drove past them flipping the bird in a non violent and non offensive way?

The rock hit your screen and you saw red.

.....exactly the same thing happened when you read my post.

It pissed you off, and you flew off the handle before taking the time to stop and consider how to react to it.

When someone does something stupid on the road, you should be taking evasive action, not aggressive action.

I'm not trying to say "it serves you right", i'm just saying that the whole mess could have easilly been avoided.

This aftenoon, myself and my 15 month old daughter were almost killed.

We were rammed from the side by a VW v8 4x4, one of those new things southbound on the calder.

Ill break it down,

1. idiot in VW half in left lane, half in medium strip spraying rocks whilst on phone doin 90 in 110 zone.

2. cracked my windscreen with rock, I go around on the horn and flip the bird.

3. idiot in VW finishes what hes doing and screams past me Flippen the bird and gobbin off.

4. idiot in VW gets in front and slows to back to 90.

5. I overtake once again, this time i simply shake my head think hes got a small dick.

6. As i come past him idiot in VW pulls from left across right lane and forces me off road.

7. at 110 i am half in the medium strip and half in my lane with a big ugly white post headin my way.

8. I gain the upperhand and my lane and the prick in the VW rams my 33 as i get back into my lane, missing white post!!!

9. I am sideways at 110, my daughter screaming, my tires screaming and i think i was too.

9. Prick in VW (on longer a simple idiot with a small dick) refuses to stop.

10. Ronin33 and scared screaming 15 month old daughter present at Keilor Park Police to file a report.

Now i know that there are those willing to hunt this Prick, but i ask you not to, i insight no violence what so ever aginst him. Nor do i condone it, period.

The Police will do their job. Of that i have been assured, the Officer I spoke to was extremely competent.

All i say is this, if you see this Prick in his shiny silver VW v8 4x4 reg tdx 074, with my black paint on his right front 1/4panel, crowd him a little, make him think all off a sudden every skyline south of the border somehow knows what this son of a bitch did.

It was by pure luck and good grace that i held the car on the road sideways at 110.

It was by pure luck and good grace that my beautiful daughter and i survived.

Because i tell you i was scared shitless.

Thank you Nissan for the 33

Thank you Whiteline for the suspension

Thank you Brigdestone for your SO3's

;)

omg.....im not gonna say how much i hate 4wds....

all i can say is im so glad you and your daughter are all right....good luck with the police, and i hope the c#nt gets whats coming to his way. maybe a semi next time when he is on the phone?? so that he can test out how strong his expensive VW is???

seriously though, good luck!!!!

    • Even more fun, leave all the ADAS stuff plugged in, but in different locations, hopefully avoid any codes!   And honestly, all these new cars with their weird electronics. Pull all the electronics out Duncan, and just shove an aftermarket ECU and if needed a trans controller in, along with a PDM. Make it run basic but race car styled!
    • To follow up a question from earlier too since I had the front bar off again (fking!) This is what is between the bumper and the drivers side wheel And this is the navigator side, only one thing but its a biggy! So basically....no putting coolers in the wheel arches without a lot of moving other stuff. Assuming I move to properly race prepping this car I'll take that job on and see how the computers respond to removing a whole bunch of ADAS modules
    • So I prepped the car for another track day on Wednesday (will be interesting to see coolant temps post flushing out and the larger reservoir, with a forecast of 3-14 being 20o cooler than last time I took it out). Couple of things to mention; since I am just driving the car and not taking a support vehicle, I took the rear seats out and just loaded the back up Team Trackday style. Look at all that space! To cover off removing the rear seat....it is weird (note the hybrid is probably different because it wouldn't have folding rear seats) Basically, you remove the lower seat base, very similar to a r series but it is a clip that pulls forward to release the base rather than it being bolted down. Easy Then, you need to remove the side section of the rear seat on each side. There is a 14mm head nut at the bottom of the side piece, the it slides upwards off a hook at the top to release; you also need to unhook the seatbelt from the loop at the top. Then the centre piece is weird. You need to release/fold the seats forward with the tab in the boot on each side From there, there are 2,x12mm headed bolts holding the rear of each seat to the folding bracket, under the trim between the rear seat and the boot (4x christmas tree clips there, they suck). The seat is out but you can see where the bolts attach to the bracket
    • As discussed in the previous post, the bushes in the 110 needed replacing. I took this opportunity to replace the castor bushes, the front lower control arm, lower the car and get the alignment dialled in with new tyres. I took it down to Alignment Motorsports on the GC to get this work done and also get more out of the Shockworks as I felt like I wasn't getting the full use out of them.  To cut a very long story short, it ended up being the case the passenger side castor arm wouldn't accept the brand new bush as the sleeve had worn badly enough to the point you could push the new bush in by hand and completely through. Trying a pair of TRD bushes didn't fix the issue either (I had originally gone with Hardrace bushes). We needed to urgently source another castor arm, and thankfully this was sourced and the guys at the shop worked on my car until 7pm on a Saturday to get everything done. The car rides a lot nicer now with the suspension dialled in properly. Lowered the car a little as well to suit the lower profile front tyres, and just bring the car down generally. Eternally thankful for the guys down at the shop to get the car sorted, we both pulled big favours from our contacts to get it done on the Saturday.  Also plugged in the new Stedi foglights into the S15, and even from a quick test in the garage I'm keen to see how they look out on the road. I had some concerns about the length of the LED body and whether it'd fit in the foglight housing but it's fine.  I've got a small window coming up next month where I'll likely get a little paint work done on the 110 to remove the rear wing, add a boot wing and roof wing, get the side skirt fixed up and colour match the little panel on the tail lights so that I can install some badges that I've kept in storage. I'm also tempted to put in a new pair of headlights on the 110.  Until then, here's some more pictures from Easter this year.
    • I would put a fuel pressure gauge between the filter and the fuel rail, see if it's maintaining good fuel pressure at idle going up to the point when it stalls. Do you see any strange behavior in commanded fuel leading up to the point when it stalls? You might have to start going through the service manual and doing a long list of sensor tests if it's not the fuel system for whatever reason.
