Turbo I'm going for is slightly bigger then a 3076. Should easily push past 300rwkw on pump fuel with some room to move on E85. With my setup, E85 and a proper tune, should see 360-380rwkw on E85.

But that won't be happening till its out of a pump. Will see how it goes anyway

Dont want to go to hard on the limiter because its all still hydraulic head. Valve springs are getting upgraded but

Nissan engines love bouncing of the limiter, my 33 GTR lived on the limiter 8500rpm all day every day it f**king loved it, same with my 34 GTT RB25 Neo lived in the red zone all time ;) . 32 GTR on the other hand spends its whole life in the red zone only time it gets a break is when its warming up.

my old CA was hydro and i rev'd it to 8 went hard haha.

also let me know when ur done with that mani. i got a gate coming i need to weld onto it :P

also picked up a turbo for it too.... why do i spend money on this daily driver haha??

And how is that CA going? :P

Yeah I often wonder why you do stuff to the skyline when your already building a fast car haha

Manifold might be a Christmas present?

CA is still goin.... just needs a proper tune man. and someone who can drive

and u can never have enuff fast cars :P this is only gettin a lil help along

f**k chrissy isnt even far away now.

I've been ignoring you for a bit now Nick, but since you continue to be a f**king loser, I will explain what was so very wrong with the CA that you sold to Andrew.

1. The Turbo was f**ked. After 500kms, I could push the compressor up against the compressor housing it had that much shaft play.

2. The Base mechanical timing was out a tooth on the Inlet Cam, out a tooth on the Exhaust cam, and out a tooth on the crank. Whoever put the timing belt on, did not have a CLUE what they where doing.

3. The Wiring loom harness was about to CATCH FIRE. It was mounted 20mm away from the turbine housing. I refused to tune the car until this was fixed. It was already starting to burn.

4. The TPS wasn't working.

5. The map sensor wasn't working properly. I removed it and used the factory Vipec sensor which works fine now.

6. The coil pack loom was f**ked. It was only firing on 2 cylinders when we first tried to start the car.

7. The Tune was the WORST I have ever seen. Yes, this tune was yours.

You pretty much just selected a square of timing, around the 5000-8000rpm mark, and just added about 15 degrees on top of the factory timing. No knock sensors, nothing. Apparently it was pinging its ass off. The rest of the tune, was the worst I have ever seen, bits changed that made no sense, AFRs were at about 10.5:1, black smoke, f**ked up, and super lean in a lot of spots.

This was your "expert" tune.

You RIPPED OFF Andrew and he should be at least demanding back the price of a new turbo from you.

Who knows what damaged was caused to that engine when you were "thrashing it at 8,000rpm" while it pinged its ass off.

I've had people like Dave Sheehy inspect my tunes and tell me that they are great and there is nothing more that he could do to them. Comments from EFI in brisbane also saying the same thing. Oh, and Mark from Godzilla asked me if I wanted to be a Vipec Agent in mackay... But I didn't want to cut in on GP Autotech. But I can get Vipecs at cost for anyone else that is interested...

If you want to continue to be a negative shit slinging dickhead, then I'n happy to actually tell the truth behind it all. I really don't know what your problem is but its really sad to be honest.

Uhh... That wasn't Nick's tune. It's been fiddled with after it's left Nick.

And he doesn't owe anyone shit. Andrew bought the motor (Eventually) after he inspected it himself more than once.

Those timing belt wasn't put on by Nick either... Nick put the new head on, yes, but it was taken off again after purchase. more than a year ago.

So why blame Nick for everything when, in the 1 year + its been out of his hands, somebody else has fiddled with it?

Actually, he did mess with it. I wouldn't call it a tune at all. But he can keep running his mouth if he wants, the truth always wins. And the only person he's kidding is himself. Apparently he's the best tuner in the world, and everything I've been doing for nearly 10 years is shit, even though everyone else says otherwise. Plus he's never seen or been in a car that i have done. I guess its just jealousy when you get to the bottom of it.

Clapson even will tell you that my tunes are done well. Leon will also tell you my tunes are up to scratch - especially after the abuse he's given these 3 vehicles. He expected them to fail mechanically from abuse, and they never have.

So, what, you want me to tell everyone that I can't tune and that I'm shit? Usually when one advertises work, they promote themselves.

I just think he's a jealous f**k that likes to try and drag people down to his level. Seems to also have a reputation for this.

HAHAHAHA u couldnt be further from the truth. maybe u should pull ur head outta ur ass.

1. theres nothing wrong with that turbo... i bought it back off him and i dont see anything wrong with it.

2 i built that motor and andrew took it to adrenalin... they pulled it apart because apparently the cam caps were wrong ?? and this is the head andrew supplied me.

3. i didnt put the wiring harness in the car so how is this my fault ??

4. tps not working... again my fault how ??

5. map sensor not working properly.. again my fault how ??

6. there wasnt anything wrong with that coil pack loom when i had it running in my car.

7. I NEVER TUNED IT. it was tuned by jason broadhurst in townsville and then again by steven at rdp in mackay

so it wasnt my "expert" tune

and there was f**k ALL to NO damage to the engine cos i stripped it completely and inspected it before i put it back together with the supplied head...

i dont see how u can hold me responsable for shit that i have no controll over.

get it through ur head I NEVER TOUCHED THAT TUNE.... i dont claim to be a tuner either.

and how do i have a rep for draggin ppl down ?? ur the only clown i give shit on here because u toot ur horn to the hills and back... if u really were that good everyone else would toot it for u

Good luck with that turbo then, I wasn't the only one that said it was f**ked.

And good for you, you seem act like you know everything but you seem pretty useless yourself.

One thing I've learnt, don't buy anything from you, don't listen to your advice, and don't let you touch a car.

Nothing I've worked on has had any issues at all. Everything I have seen you do or come from you has been royally f**ked, regardless of what you say.

That's why that motor ran for well over 20 thousand k's... Must be cos I don't know anything at all.

I wouldn't sell u anything. I wouldn't offer u advice and I wouldn't wanna work on a car u have touched anyway.

Shit if I did I would get the blame.

Edited by dysonest

I don't understand how he seems pretty useless... He never did anything that you accused him of. All the work I've seen him do has been above satisfactory.

That CA isn't his fault. He never tuned it, installed it or changed the timing.

Given I have PHYSICALLY helped on that motor, th thing was FINE. Every time we drove it, it NEVER pinged at all. So, master diagnostics specialist, it seems you have no clue what you're on about and you're trying to find a way to have a dig at Nick.

The car wasnt even tuned by him, TWICE by third parties. the f**king motor and ecu left his hands PERFECTLY fine, EVERYTHING worked. But how would I know? I'm just another forum user who has no idea I guess.

The map sensor worked, the tps worked, so I guess, you should look in your own glass house before throwing stones. I have spent MANY hours in that car.

But I guess, like everyone besides you... I have no idea about engines, tunes and general runnings of a car.

TL;DR. Get f**ked dickhead

    • As far as I can tell I have everything properly set in the Haltech software for engine size, injector data, all sensors seem to be reporting proper numbers.  If I change any injector details it doesnt run right.    Changing the base map is having the biggest change in response, im not sure how people are saying it doesnt really matter.  I'm guessing under normal conditions the ECU is able to self adjust and keep everything smooth.   Right now my best performance is happening by lowering the base map just enough to where the ECU us doing short term cut of about 45% to reach the target Lambda of 14.7.  That way when I start putting load on it still has high enough fuel map to not be so lean.  After 2500 rpm I raised the base map to what would be really rich at no load, but still helps with the lean spots on load.  I figure I don't have much reason to be above 2500rpm with no load.  When watching other videos it seems their target is reached much faster than mine.  Mine takes forever to adjust and reach the target. My next few days will be spent making sure timing is good, it was running fine before doing the ECU and DBW swap, but want to verify.  I'll also probably swap in the new injectors I bought as well as a walbro 255 pump.
    • It would be different if the sealant hadn't started to peel up with gaps in the glue about ~6cm and bigger in some areas. I would much prefer not having to do the work take them off the car . However, the filler the owner put in the roof rack mount cavities has shrunk and begun to crack on the rail delete panels. I cant trust that to hold off moisture ingress especially where I live. Not only that but I have faded paint on as well as on either side of these panels, so they would need to come off to give the roofline a proper respray. My goal is to get in there and put a healthy amount of epoxy instead of panel filler/bog and potentially skin with carbon fiber. I have 2 spare rolls from an old motorcycle fairing project from a few years back and I think it'd be a nice touch on a black stag.  I've seen some threads where people replace their roof rack delete with a welded in sheet metal part. But has anyone re-worked the roof rails themselves? It seems like there is a lot of volume there to add in some threads and maybe a keyway for a quick(er) release roof rack system. Not afraid to mill something out if I have to. It would be cool to have a cross bar only setup. That way I can keep the sleek roofline that would accept a couple bolts to gain back that extra utility  3D print some snazzy covers to hide the threaded section to be thorough and keep things covered when not using the rack.
    • Probably not. A workshop grade scantool is my go to for proper Consult interrogation. Any workshop grade tool should do it. Just go to a workshop.
    • In my head it does make sense to be a fuel problem since that is what I touched when cleaning the system. When I was testing with the fuel pressure gauge, the pressure was constantly 2.5 bar with the FPR vacuum removed. When stalling, the pressure was going up to 3.0 bar (which is how it should be on ignition).
    • ECUtalk pages don't mention they support the ABS computer (consult port has more than one CAN), so you might just need a different scan tool. But, I would expect ABS is a different light to the brake warning/handbrake light, do you see an ABS light come on for a few seconds when you turn the key from ACC to IGN? But since you said: I'd have a look at the ABS sensors in the rear hubs to make sure they are not damaged, disconnected etc.
