Thanks Sean, I will make another call. That dude must not have been too interested in selling me a car..

Jono,

Either call Ben or Vas, i had Ben over at my yard yesterday i told him i had a mate keen on an 86 he said there's one here to test drive but the wait is currently 3 months for the base model and 2 years for the GT-S or whatever the one is with the bodykit and spoiler.

Ben - 0400 422 628

Vasili - 0400 251 725

They will both help you out man.

Thanks mate, as soon as I get a chance I will organise something with one of these guys.

About oils earlier too, A mate sent me an interesting test of all oils. Seems Royal Purple and Penrite seem to be the best in these particular tests.

BENNY BOY THESE ARE H BEAM RODS MATE :domokun:

I think once i'm finally off these P plates i'll look for a tidy S15. Seems to be a shit load of SR20 bits and peices reasonably accessible and cheap rather than turning the V35 FI or throwing a Vortech on it.

thats why u mod cars lol... to be different. in saying that if u dont wanna spend BULK cash then yes lightly mod an S15, theres parts everywhere for them

Yeah there isn't many V35's in Aus that are Turbo'd or Supercharged so it would be interesting, but the only real downfall with my car is that there isn't a lot of people in the country that know a great deal about them and parts almost always have to be sourced from Japan/USA.

I still have 12 months.. so i got plenty of time to decide!

    • Ha ha ha, that's fair mate! We have the crackhead dogs now. Mainly because the missus wants the crazy dogs while she still has the energy and capacity to be able to keep up with them! Ha ha our current two are both Working GSD, there brothers and sisters (from the same litters) are in Police, Corrective Services, and I believe one did end up in defence force too. They're wild and fun, yet right now, both curled up asleep on the lounge room floor while we watch some TV. Mal is very likely the next dog (unless I get my couch potato guardian dog 😛 )   What are your Kitties names? Are you planning some house work, like those high kitty shelves, built in scratching post, and some cat passages from one room to another room?
    • Maine Coone, did look at but to big and fluffy As for performance dogs, we had Mals at work, performance dogs are fun to watch, but, way to much work for this old rooster
    • Yep, it was only an option on the Q50 Hybrid.  Same in Japan as far as I know. And doesn't use a centre diff like the Suby's do, so not the same as the WRX.  But it also isn't a reactive AWD like other Nissan AWD vehicles are, eg. Murano/Xtrail/etc.
    • You should have got a Maine Coone then. Only thing is they're big. But so cool, and just like a dog. Or, just get yourself a high performance dog. That'll teach you for wanting Parkour indoors 😛
    • Are you thinking of Bens R32? I don't remember if his went through the bonnet itself, but it went through the chassis rail. Brad (RISKIN) bought it, and turned it into a track car. It's funny how anti people are of Jim Berry now. I remember when I pulled mine out (during an engine change) and inspected it and found it cracking badly. At that point in time so many people were even on SAU, were so pro Jim Berry, and that was after Bens GTR exploded his quite publically.
