I'm sure most of you have driven paradise st of late.... Wht a joke the upgraded road there is already started to fall apart ...... All the wet couldn't be doing it good but surely it has to have something to do with the quality of work carried out as well ?? Then what would I know I'm a boilermaker by trade lol

Mackay Regional Council have a tendency to do roadwork's in the wet season... dumb f**ks instead on hooking in on the winter months and getting it done properly. They need to asphalt everything once instead on shitty bitumen repairs 10 times over.

yeah they love doing half-arsed roadworks then scratch their head when the wet season comes wondering why the road doesn't hold together for longer than a week without giant crater-like potholes appearing.. always happened in Mackay lol. Amazing how different the roads are in Townsville compared to here..

Yeah cheers mate ..... Went and got a wheel balance done haha what a drama that turned out to be as it had a lock nut on each rim which I couldn't find the key nut for so me assuming that any wheel and tyre joint would have a grip socket to remove them went down to only find out they didn't and were not willing to remove them with a ordinary socket which I have done tons of time .... So back home I go and 10 minutes later the lock nuts are off haha should have done it myself first time around ! Anyways turns out each wheel was out between 10 - 30 grams lol feels heaps better now !

kool kool. well ill send ya a msg when im heading home and ill chuck em in the back of the ute and head round. ill bring rotors and rear calipers if you want. front sitting on there so they dont leak out.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
