ah yess. it was only a mater of time before the excuses started rolling.

f**ked if im gonna spend 1k+ on new semis when i can get alost as good result from some 60% worn 20 heatcycles ol;d slicks for 50 a corner.

i think the "masters" need to take my car for a spin and show me the error of my ways. im all for improving. hell i smashed 5 seconds of my time this time round so i can only hope for better.

lets not turn this into a "my dicks bigger" contest lol

A GT Production Subaru WRX STi does 1:44.95, and that was a fe years ago. What do they have? 160awkws. Goes to show what suspension, cages and slicks do for cars around places like EC

haha believe it or not. but im on your side.

evan though im a gtr driver :yes: go to the drags and its the same shit everytime. oh my clutch,synchros,TYRES,blah blah blah. its pretty funny. its awfully hard to just go. oh. i got beaten by someone and leave it at that. anyway im not gonna get drwn into a mad debate about why any paticular car is faster or slower.

in here you cant pay 300 bucks and lodge a protest. so really where all cheating hahahaha

LOL...i have known a few ppl that are so concerned about lap times that they have not ventured out...which is pretty silly really. Your only robbing yourself of heaps of fun getting caught up too much in what other ppl are doing.

It is a hoot, and at the end of the day you can only hope to improve on your previous PB...well thats what i think anway...

What a great week!

I cant wait to organise the NSW response :)

Shame there are so many of our cars off the road atm with shops booked up for months so we cant get any work done, but dont worry, we will be down :P

Paul and Sarah did a great job with those pics :yes:

The stig - JAGR33 - was f**king quick, if i remember correctly it was using 2860's? Someone correct me if im wrong please?

      Jacks that fit under GTR lips that can reach the subframe?

      For race cars, this is one part where I find having the roll cage bar having gone through a hole in the floor better than the build it up on a ledge inside... The Merc I help on, the main hoop ends are marked on the car, and the jack is marked... Jack goes under a few inches and lifts one whole side of the car up... Removes that fight for long slim jacks for race car duties!   My biggest issue for the daily drivers I work on, is my jacks don't go high enough. The jacks start out on a few blocks, jack it up, then start a second jack under it on more blocks, and then I can get an axle stand under it. My axle stands are presently in use, and are nearly fully extended. The car is sitting with barely more than a cm of clearance to get the wheel off the studs! Sarah's Kluger is the same, as it has an ungodly amount of droop available in the suspension and a distinct lack of good jacking points!

      Happy? Yep, my to do list is getting shorter and shorter. Either this light approaching is the end of the tunnel, or I'm about to be hit by a train... Ha ha ha   Also, Duncan isn't that far out of town that you need to make a multi day drive out of it. 😛

      I have more than enough digging, laying blocks, moving gravel, airrating, feeding and top soiling the grass, and setting up the veggie gardens growing some seedlings,  and then removing all the unused rock to keep me busy for the next few months at least,  hopefully the rain stops soon so I can get a few hours in this arvo, but, before that Sunday is washing day, is every body happy, you bet your life we are Nice country road day drives are a day off whenever I'm muscle sore from all the landscaping at the moment, but, more epic multiple day drives will start once the majority of the big jobs outside are completed
