Ok, I know i asked the same question about Carizma, and got some good feedback, actually I have placed an order with Joe anyway, one of the old partners as he has left carizma. But i went for a cruise past Power Rd Carsales just for a sticky beak coz there cars are advertised quite cheap. But now i know why, they seem to be very very average cars, most of them seem to have really done the miles, everything on the inside was worn on nearlly all the cars. Well thats what i thought anyway. Also being an ex spray painter i did notice that quite a few cars had had a accident at some stage in there life

What do you guys think of them?

And i wont go into JSA cars, Got ask myself why are they all re-sprayed???

I did not like them at all. Most of the cars looked pretty average and the guy there was.... to say the least un-professional. Looked like he hadn't showered in weeks was in this crappy lil office with a broken air con and had that whole im gonna roll this guy for his money with a dud car look smeared all over his un shaven face. Wasn't a help either at all. Kamikazi motors is the goods, i got my car from the nunawading branch.

There have been a few threads about powerroads

here is a recent one:

power rd carales = arogant prics, cars arent THAT good

JSA = go have a look in person and u'll see what i mean

R33silverS2 is spot on, i have found kamikaze to be excellent. if i was ever to buy an import, i would definately be headin straight for them

i have nothing to say about the actual business, but when i was looking for a car about 3 years ago, coming from out near the melbourne airport to see a car he had, he neglected to tell me that his price didn't include compliance on the phone

you can imagine how annoyed i was when i had just driven 1.5hrs for nothing...

doesn't say much for customer service

    • It's funny, as Ive seen plenty of people use them in cheap builds on YT. And they actually go okay, even though a lot of other maxspeedingrods stuff is terrible. Those turbos seem reliable enough, the only part being, a good quality turbo that is "identical" to it, will out perform it day in and day out. In both a lower boost threshold, and the ability to flow more air at the same boost pressure. As a cheap cheap replacement, not a terrible choice. For cheap and shouldn't blow in a day, not terrible (like other eBay/Temu turbos) for low cost and still decent performance, that's where the question comes in to play from the results I've seen. I'd actually find it hilarious to buy one, and strap it to a paddock basher or some other cheap as POS originally NA car, and send it to the moon!
    • The maxpeedingrods turbo is cheap and bolts on to stock parts. I think you just need a bigger silicone coupler for the intake. Its a cheap china turbo, but it's been running on mine for almost 3 years at 16-19 psi.
    • What do they look like right after you've tried to start it with everything connected? Also post photos of what they actually look like.
